Very happy…my father used to talk about Golden Gage plums, so planted in his memory …given a couple of years I reckon it will be a lovely tree…

Mu daughter bought this for me delivered 29/11/23. There was hardly any root. I have planted it anyway so fingers xd. I have bought bare root trees before and each time there was substantially more root system than this one

What do you call a free with all the roots cut off? A stick!I buried the bottom end and hopefully the poor thing might have enough energy to grow some more, but I'm not holding my breath.

Received this a week ago, fast dispatch well packed in straw, it came bare rooted, great root system snd a thick stem about 4cm wideI planted it into a planter/tub as the ground was frozen rock hard (we were in the middle of a freezing period on delivery)Quality tree, good branch structure, good size about 5ft after planting.I’ve bought from these suppliers previously, that was a Golden Delicious Apple tree, again bare rooted and very good quality producing loads of apples the 3 years I’ve had it.I’ve previously seen some negative reviews for this seller (3 Fat Pigs) but speak as I find and they’ve supplied me some quality trees and a good price.Also bought another plum tree in the same order, a Victoria on Pixie rootstock, this was potted and again a great tree.EditIt’s now July, the tree took a while to burst leaf buds end of April but it’s now growing superblyNo flowers or fruit this year just growth, hoping it gets fruit next year, the Victoria Plum tree also thriving, very happy with purchase.Recommended supplier from my experience

arrived , its been in the ground a few months now and looking good. hopefully fruit will come in a few years.

It has come bare rooted, tightly bound, so I cannot tell yet if it will survive.
