Antiques of the Future

I gave this book to my Mother as a gift and, when I visit her, I always look for the book to review. For those who appreciate design and todays foremost product designers it is a great book. It makes one want to seek out these collectibles (especially if you can afford some of them!). I gave it 4 stars because I wish the book had more entries in it.I, like you, read the reviews before I buy. Go ahead, it's a fun book you'll be glad you have on hand to refer back to.

I thought this book would give a lot of details about Antiques of the future just okay nice pictures in book.

We loved the television series about this book, and how the items were chosen. The designs are innovative, functional, whimsical, and just plain great. Would love to own many of the items shown in this book!!!

I was able to hear the author speak. She is an amazing person and has really chosen fascinating objects that one day will be antiques.

This book has very little information. I expected more products to be reviewed.

An arresting conception and collection forces you to look at everyday objects in a new way. I cannot wait for vol. 2.

The idea of the book is quite interesting and makes for a good conversation topic - what WILL be the antique of the future? The price is justified for such a nice hardcover and excellent quality paper.

This book would make a great gift for any design lover. The unique photography make it fun to look through over and over again. Could even see kids liking this book. It's informative and good looking, a killer combo!
