Good quality from Milwaukee as usual, ideal for small jobs, battery consumption is high but would think all hot air gun makes are the same

Up until now I've been putting heat shring on with a blow torch. Since buying this - no more scorching, it is compact and, reliable. The price was good too...!!

Not as good as I thought it would be even taking in account of it being battery operated. However spot on for what I use it for. Good for heat shrink and setting off high heat fire detectors without burning what you're working on. But not powerful enough for typical hot air gun jobs. Maybe okay for making do in a pinch for small jobs. But definitely not a direct replacement for mains hot air guns particularly for prolonged tasks

Fantastic tool, always good to have handy

Purchased this Milwaukee Heat Gun for general use around the house/garage to aid the removal of stickers/decals, sticky residue left after removal etc.Its Milwaukee, so build quality is excellent, and the gun feels well made and robust. I was quite surprised by how quickly it chews through a 4.0 and 5.0 M18 battery, but in comparison to plug in cheap heat guns, this is a small sacrifice to gain a gun that is portable and high quality.

Not brilliant one setting doesn't blow like I hoped

It’s one of those things in my case I don’t use often but I’m anti cable anything I hate the hassle of finding sockets, extension leads ect.I would never have believed the more than adequate heat this makes, I use my 5ah batteries and only using this for 5 or 10 Minute stints at a time I have never even managed to get the first neon out on the battery neon indicator, so I can’t tell you how long a 5ah battery will last but it seems it would be a long time.
