Yakpads Low- Back Gel Paddle Saddle

These are fabulous! We are: 62, bad body problems, Perception Angler kayak, and 51, sits too much at work, Pelican Athena kayak. The pads fit both sit-in boats perfectly just being strapped and laced on, which is an extremely minimal installation. The pads NEVER moved or required adjustment. The only thing we noticed was how much more comfortable we were! Not like "floating on clouds" comfortable, but we paddled for 11 hours in 2 days and it felt more like 3 hours would have without the pads. They appear to be durable.

I bought one of these for both my Mom and Dad. We all have 2009 Pungo 120's and while they are great kayaks, you can definitely feel it in your butt and lower back after a few hours of paddling around. I've found that these seats give just enough extra cushion and comfort to help get you through that last hour or two more comfortably. Be careful when considering the low vs. the high back. I originally bought a high one for myself and found that it fell several inches above the back rest of the kayak seat. Not the end of the world, but there's a clear difference with the low one fit appropriately onto the kayak seat.

Comfortable replacement seat pad that fits classic wilderness systems boats. I purchased this to replace the trashed seat pad on my original Pungo (now Pungo Classic) and it works great with the existing straps. Also using it on a 9' Rascal with the same original style seat. Unclips for storage and transport, then clips in to the back and its ready to go. I do not fasten the lower seat part, just the back using the original straps and the clips that come with the pad.

I actually ended up giving this to my neighbor for a Christmas present because I felt sorry for him and his Kayak with a hard plastic seat. I have to admit I was disappointed with this seat. It doesn't really help that much. It's just too thin and doesn't provide enough support in the seat. The low back is nice but overall I wouldn't recommend this.

Thought this pad would provide better comfort level for longer paddles. The pad is rather small and only barely provides much coverage on either of my two sit in kayaks. I didn’t strap it in one time and it folder over making it twice it’s regular thickness - to be honest it provide a little better comfort for my rear end. Bottom line I will stick with my Jackson Sweet cheeks seat by far a better solution if your rear hurts or gets tired during paddles.

Perfect!!! - We have two "Current Design - Pachena" sit in Kayaks. Fits perfectly and with the "no skid/slide" surface on the seat bottom they stay in place very nicely. Perfect!!!!

My husband loves this because he sits for along period of time.

Makes the ride a little more comfortable, not as impressive as some of the reviews I read on here.
