Convicting. Caution: this book is convicting. It is a GREAT read for Christian women living in a "pinterest perfect" society today. I was amazed at how Kathi Lipp & Cheri Gregory knew so much about my life, my way to try and live up to all expectations and yet I've never met them. Ever. If you ever struggled with putting on a perfect front, staying up all night to make it "just right" or at least trying to look like you have it all together this book will become a great resource and reference for you. The resources in this book will give you practical advice and encourage you to seek what God has for you in your life rather than try and live like you've gotten it all together. There are great resources for women, working women, as well as moms. Once you take the assessment to figure out what type of rebel you are, you will find that the descriptions are pretty much right on. Their practical stories are a great encouragement to women!

This book has opened my eyes to the lies and destructive patterns that have guided my life. I now can face my "P bullies" - perfectionism, performancism, people pleasing and procrastination - and recognize the dynamic playing in my head. I have become braver - able to stand up for myself and draw boundaries. I highly recommend this book for anyone struggling with the burnout of trying harder and needing the joy of living braver.

I found this book very insightful and helpful. An easy ready with real life experience make it totally relatable. Gave a copy to my daughter and she wanted one for a friend after reading it. I will continue to share it.

The 4 Ps/Bullies are very real. But, we have God's promise that 'No Weapon formed against me shall prosper,' and this includes weapons that I create or try to live up to.

Fantastic book! I relate to so much in this book. The writers are wonderful and help us see the madness that we sometimes have in our lives but don't even recognize. Their personal stories bring comedy and their resolutions bring peace into a chaotic world.
