All the parts were included in the shipment including a bilingual pamphlet for installation. However, the pictures showing each step were blurry and difficult to figure out what to do. Once I figured out one side, the other side took two minutes to fix. They just need a better set of directions.

Product is great. As mentioned before the photos on the install instructions looked like they were taken in 1957 and had been faxed 100 times before printed. They were pretty much useless. Pictures folks posted on the reviews showing the product installed helped me more than the pictures in the instructions but ultimately was able to get it all put together without too much effort.

These replacement parts worked out really well. I replaced the old rack adjusters soon as this kit arrived. I had looked up an instruction video on Youtube by the model # so I used that as an installation guide. The one enclosed was pretty much useless. It was so easy! I only needed a small phillips head screw driver, a flat head screwdriver to help pry off one of the old parts, and needle nose plyers. Our top rack is working great again. I only installed three weeks ago and can't tell how sturdy the new parts are so I gave durability 4 stars. If you have broken wheels on your top rack then I definately recommend you do this. Anyone can do it. My life in the kitchen is so much easier now.

Key thing is do one side at a time, so other side is available as a reference. Note position of original pieces, then git 'er done!

We had an unexpected hardware failure in the upper rack of our KitchenAid kdtm404ewh2 Dishwasher when a couple of supports broke. Naturally I went to the KitchenAid web page to look for replacement parts.When I went the dishwashers; there was only this kit; which lead me (wrongly) to assume it was their universal upgrade to the brackets and clips for all of their models.I checked Amazon; and chose this seller's version based on the ratings. I'd also checked out YouTube videos (important note here) on how to do the replacement.I removed all the old brackets, slides, and clips and tossed them since the new upgrade was very different than the old one. (Big mistake, but not as bad as it could have been)When the replacement arrived; I went to putting it together using the YouTube video rather than the enclosed directions. (See picture)The original pictures used to make the sheet may have been good to begin with, but the one I got looked like it had been copied one time too many on a laser copier.The big surprise came when I tried to put the upper rack back into the dishwasher. It wouldn't fit into the rails.The model kdtm404ewh2 has a 2 section slide, and this kit was for a single slide.After searching for the parts by using the model kdtm404ewh2; I found out that every part is sold separately, and some are discontinued. (Shame on KitchenAid for not enabling a model parts search for their machines)I shouldn't have thrown away the OEM parts that weren't broken; but I did.So, after looking at what I have now; I realized it could be made to work with model kdtm404ewh2 with minor modifications. There were several options; bit I wanted to still be able to remove the top rack if needed.In the end all it took was to remove the rollers (see picture) and replace them with 1 inch machine screws with 10-20 Stainless Steel Nylon insert locknuts. (See pictures)The locknuts are placed on the inside, and outsides of the bracket to keep the screw heads in place to fit into the slots of the slides. It worked perfectly (fingers crossed that it keeps on working.)But, if not I can secure the front ends of the brackets to the slides with the screws going through them. It would mean having to unscrew them when/if I wanted to take the upper rack out; but it would be very stable.This kit is super quality material and better than OEM. The price is a fraction of the OEM parts, and comes with instructions; even if they aren't very usable. (Should be Minus 1-Star for that; but videos are available)

The instructions that are included need clearer pictures since they are blurred BUT we found a you tube video that was AWESOME and the replacement parts fit perfectly and work great! Thank you

Easy to install and much sturdier then the flimsy plastic OEM part at less then half the price. The pictures in the printed instructions were a little difficult to see clearly but it is fairly easy to figure out. There are detailed instructions and videos in some of the other reviews that can be helpful if needed. I am very happy to have found this and be able to use my dishwasher again. FYI, all the parts needed are included so you can just break the old part to make disassembly easier.

These replacement Metal rack adjusters were the perfect fit for my dishwasher in which one of the plastic upper rack adjusters had broken. The supplied instructions supplied were difficult to see/read but I found a how-to YouTube video (search "Dishwasher How To Replace the Rack Adjuster") which is what I referred to for installation instructions (total time to replace both sides was about 10 minutes). My dishwasher had an extra clip on the old rack adjusters that not shown in the video but it was easy to figure out how to remove them.

The original one installed in the dishwasher was all plastic parts. This has been in for awhile and is holding up well. I installed it myself, I am a widow and learning to do more repairs. I followed instructions from U Tube. That help immensely. Made it quick and easy to install.

As others have indicated, the adjusters don't stay in place and require modification to work.Also, the instructions have decent verbiage, but the pics are black and white and blurry.Hopefully this lasts longer than the last plastic set that only held up for about 12 months and fell apart.

My washer's model was listed in the description, however it did not fit out of the box. I had to use the channel wheels from the old kit. In the name of instructions there was a photocopied paper, and was hard to understand/follow. I would recommend that you watch some YouTube videos.The comparable product all looked the same, this was probably the cheapest option at that time.Please wear gloves as the steel plate is sharp around the edges. You will need a screwdriver.Even with that issue, I was able to install under 30 mins, YouTube videos really helped.
