Fraturtles

This is my favorite book for twins! It's super cute for fraternal twins.

Reading this sweet children's book put a smile on my face. "Fraturtles" is a precious book which explains just what it means to be a fraternal twin. The language is kid friendly, and the story flows nicely. The illustrations are adorable. My son, Jett (who is also a twin), and I love the facial expressions of all the turtle characters. Buy this book! You won't regret it!

This is a cute book using turtles to explain the concept of fraternal twins. The language is easy for children to understand but also enjoyable for adults to read. The pictures are adorable and well drawn. The only down side is that the pages are fairly thin. Not a huge issue, but you need to keep it out of reach from younger children. Would have preferred if it was a hard cover book. But overall, an adorable book that is perfect for any family with fraternal twins.

Adorable book! I bought it for my preschool class for letter T week and it quickly became one of our favorites. I had a set of fraternal twins in my class so they got a big kick out of this book. Well written, I love the illustrations. A really adorable book over all

Cute book. The daughter in it seems a little too angry though lol but I like that its for boy girl twins and it will help my babies learn about themselves.

My husband and I recently found out we are expecting fraternal twins! We are over the moon! I wanted a way to explain to my 6 year old stepson what fraternal twins are and this did the trick. I read it on my own first to check it out and it was so adorable it brought me to happy tears. I highly recommend!

This book was recommended in a moms of multiples group I am in. It is perfect for explaining the concept of fraternal twins to little guys. Twins are met with all kinds of questions, and kids and adults of all ages are frequently confused by the different types of twins. This book does a great job with a cute story of explaining why not all twins look alike.

A great topic and name for a gift for family twins but sadly arrived in a soaked through cardboard envelope and the book was therefore crinkled as it’s more of a booklet material than thicker book cover

Great read for twins, super cute

This is a great book! Very cute story and useful for explaining the concept of fraternal twins to a child. Without any spoilers, the story is about two fraternal twin turtles who are curious about why they look different and not the same like other twins. Lots of questions, and answers appropriate for children.The book is a little too complex for very young children, but would be great for 4-5 year olds.

I really wanted to like this book because I have fraternal twin boys and was so excited to get it. I just don't like how angry and rude Shelly is. She screams at her brother, she snaps, yells and shouts at her mother. These are not mannerisms I want to repeatedly instill in my boys. This will not be in heavy rotation for storytime at my house. Will stick to Little Critter and other classic stories.

Lovely book. Very simple images, all in similar colour scheme (greens, yellows, and blues mostly). The content is fine. One of the characters is a bit sassy, which I am hoping the kids wont pick up on if read a certain way. Comical for an adult to read. One of the only books I could find about fraternal twins.
