Best way to mince garlic!
I've had all kinds of garlic presses, but they either break or are difficult to use. This one let's me do more garlic (instead of the old hand press kind that you have to scrape the remainder out between cloves). The first time I used it, I thought it sucked and I was going to toss it. The second time, I got the hang of it. The rocking motion is key. Now I'm buying fresh garlic (which I love) instead of the pre chopped stuff in a jar.The mincing size is wonderful. For times I want chunkier, I will chop (but my knife skills are seriously lacking. It is very easy to clean (I just use a vegetable brush). There is nothing sticking out, like with a grater/zester that catches on to sponges and hides small particles.Of course, you do have to use pressure when pressing, but a little body weight behind it is way better than trying to squeeze with your hand. I got this particular one because it looked sturdier than others. It's held up well, and feels sturdy. I would not recommend putting it in the dishwasher though because the high heat can put a strain on any plastic.I haven't gotten the hang of the silicone tube to peel garlic and it is more difficult to clean, especially since the inside of the tube has rubbing. I prefer the whacking method with the flat of my knife and peeling it myself. Plus the silicone hangs onto the garlic smell.

Wonderful alternative to aerosol oils
I have been trying to get away from aerosol cooking spray. Pouring some oil in a pan is fine but I wanted a “go to” to spread it evenly in the pan. Everyone I know who bought the pumps you put your own oil in said they were awful. A friend of mine kept a cup with a silicone brush in it next to the stove but that allows dust, etc to settle in there. Gross.I thought A giant nail polish jar with oil would work bc you could close it for storage and I started looking for something like that online. Boom! This is wonderful!! I ordered one first bc of the price but was so in love after a week, I ordered a second. I use olive oil and canola oil so I have one for each and made little labels for them.I’m so happy, they work great, I don’t miss aerosol products at all, totally worth the money!!

Much better than a garlic press
We bought this to replace our broken garlic press. Wasn't sure but I having owned for several months prefer using this style. Works best if you cut the garlic into smaller pieces. Easier to use and even easier to clean.

Not super easy to use.
This product is both easy to clean and very sturdy. I was expecting it to be easier to use though. Unless you have a very small clove you need to cut the clove anyway. I was hoping for something less hands on garlic.

Pretty good
The design of this is different from the traditional press. Ultimately it works much better and you get a lot more garlic and less waste. There are lots of the exact same style for a bit cheaper. This one claimed to be better steel. I didn't buy the others to compare but instead spent the bit extra based on that assumption. It's sturdy and seems as if it will last. Go for it.

Peeler is amazing
I like the garlic press, though you really do have to put a lot of pressure to get it through the holes and more than once over to get it all through. The amazing thing is the little plastic roller that you put the garlic in and the simply roll a couple of times and the peel magically flies off. This alone is worth it!

It's OK
Not sure what would make it work better; maybe if the openings could be sharper. Basically, you have to apply a good deal of pressure on the tool to penetrate the garlic. I have to slice the peeled garlic into at least two sections before using the tool. It leaves a skin of garlic on the underside and small usable bits in side the curved part. General rating - meh - another tool for garlic that is so, so.

Garlic crusher
You have to make sure there’s a flat side to the garlic clove or it will slip across the cutting board. And you need a good amount of strength to press down and crush the garlic. However, once you get the hang of it, it does a nice job of making uniform little pieces of garlic. For these reasons I did not give it five stars.
