Glass is made from a combination of sand and various other minerals being melted together at extremely high temperatures. This has been done all over the world, though some places are better-known than others. Glass beads have been used in jewellery making for centuries, right back to Roman times and they remain hugely popular to this day. Glass is very versatile, as it can be made into a very large variety of shapes and colours, so can be made into large statement pieces or more subtle, smaller creations.

Lovely colours
Loved the colour of these beads. I used them as inclusions in a mold and made lovely little plates. I have since made a few of these and these beads are perfect.
