Rechargeable Digital Hearing Amplifier - BTE - PSAP - Ear Sound Amplifiers

My husband had an expensive hearing aid that finally broke after a few years. He hardly ever wore it. They wanted to sell him another expensive one and I told him to try this as he never wore the other one so why spend around $1000 for another one.I saw this and because it said it could be returned, he said he would try it. At first he was reluctant to wear it. He tried it on and said he couldn't hear anything. He hadn't turned the sound up in the right direction. I adjusted it and tried it and it seemed fine. He tried it again and has been using it since then. He said it was comfortable and he heard well. He is finally wearing his hearing aid.I am happy I looked and found this on Amazon. The price has gone up since we bought it a week ago, but it is still over $900 less than the audiologist wanted.

I bought this device for my Dad and he could not hear anything I tried it and he was right nothing amplified nothing I was really disappointed because he had been very ill and I thought it would make it easier on him and give him a better quality of life but it didn't very disappointing

You get what you pay for. Works great for the price. I’d totally recommend it if you can’t afford more.

Have had several ear surgeries the past year and needed something to help me during meetings, etc at work and to help hear the TV at home. Definitely does what I need it to do. Wish the fit was just a little better behind the ear as sometimes if trying to adjust the volume while on it causes it to fall out. Is small enough that most people don't know I am wearing!

If you told me a few months ago that I would be using a hearing amplifier, I would have chuckled, but my son encouraged me to try one. I looked into the products that were available and decided to purchase the Otofonix Apex Hearing Amplifier. I really like it. I have used the noise cancellation setting and it works. I can hear conversations more clearly and don't feel that I am missing out on anything. I am quite pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.

Well, how can i explain this in a simple manner. If you can't hear much of any thing, this could be very helpful for the price is low!! Now if you need just alittle help, i dont think so.It has a continual air sound in it,and the ear fit device is poor and it SHOWS immensly.I will keep mine only because it is always a pain to return anything,and i will use it at home only for a tv show now and then!!

This was a purchase i made for my Dad. He is so happy for this new hearing aid. He claims it works better than the $3000 hearing aid he has had for the last 3 years, except for the 3 weeks every 6 month when it was sent for maintenance and repairs.I will purchase one more for my Mom. Her story is exactly the same as my Dad's.Thank you so much.

I bought this for my mother in law. The amplification part worked acceptably after some tweaking. The problem was that in about 30 days it stopped holding charge long enough to be of any practical use. The seller would not replace the product. It does not hold a charge for more than 3 hrs after 12 hrs of charging.Total waste of money.
