Fit as expected. Wire ring that holds it in place is a little hard to lock in place

We replaced the molded and stained boot that was originally on the LG washer we bought used. I made sure it was a fit for the model, and it fit perfectly without any issue. Getting the wire clamp on wasn't a breeze but that was to be expected, based on the replacement videos I watched before tackling this DIY. I did not spend the $25-$30 for the clamp tool, which probably would have made the replacement really easy. We used two pairs of pliers and brute strength. It has been on for two months with no leakage issues. I wipe out the boot and leave the door ajar after every wash, and we have no nasty smells or mold either. Really pleased!

Very difficult to install. This part was about 2 inches smaller diameter than the old part so it had to be stretched to fit the machine. This took two people and a lot of pushing and pulling. The tubes that attach to the steam vent are also quite a bit smaller and it was very difficult to get the steam vent installed. Overall, the part seems like it is good quality, and it was able to be installed, but the size was not what I expected.

Fit perfectly, I only needed 3 out of 4 holes for the lg I was working on. Sharp razer knife was a cake walk to cut out the ones that i needed put a little liquid soap around holes slipped parts right in. It was easy to push on and spring stretching tool made it even easier. For the money it was well worth every cent.

Turns out I am on the stupid side of that line.See how everyone else talks about it not fitting and they had to fight to get it on? Well, they are better than me. Two of us spent over an hour fighting this thing and never got it more than 80% of the way on. We tried warming it and that DID make it a little more pliable, but it still wouldn't stretch enough.Just do yourself a favor, get the LG branded one. It may cost a little more. It may take an extra day to arrive. Those are all worth it. The LG branded one I got installed in minutes and was easy. This one will go down in family lore and we will be telling the story of us fighting and cussing at the off-brand door gasket we bought this one time when I didn't believe the reviews...(If it matters, my washing machine is a LG WM 2301HR)

Bought a Used washer that was leaking from the door. This part fixed the leak right up. It was not the easiest to install, but if you buy some spring release clamps, it would make this 1000x easier to install.

When reading the reviews i seen i kind of felt iffy but took the risk. I feel some people either didnt check the exact compatibility for their machine or didnt know what they were doing. I put pictures of some of the tools i used to get it on. Pretty smooth install. Thank you seller. 5 stars. I hate when people give bad reviews when sometimes it is their own fault for the troubles. Either using wrong tools, using on a non-compatible machine, or thinking it is just easy peasy. Do your research correctly. If you dont feel comfortable or doubtful then just pay someone to change it

If you are DIY guy, this product will work as advertised. You need to do a fair amount of disassembly but you can view it all on YouTube. You may see a little rubbing of the new ring until it settles in and then it goes away. Think of it like tread on new bicycle tires there is a break in period.

I did a little research before ordering this to to ensure it was compatible with our washing maching. Not super complicated to change. Youtube had some good videos explaining the step by step breakdown as to how to change it. One thing that would make it much easier is to have the correct tool to install the spring loaded wire ring deals that hold the seal in place. I managed to get it done without the tool but it would've been a time saver. It fit as it should.

Would recommend getting the tool to install this but 100% as described. Fits my lg front load washing machine. No leaks and have used it a dozen times so far.

The quality was in the part but the holes were not punched out. All it takes is a little slip of the knife and boom you need to purchase another one!

Before ordering, I ask the supplier for compatibility for LG WM2077CW and the answer was YES, however, does not fit for three reasons: 1. There is a connexion hole at the bottom that is intended for pluging some kind of hose but this hose is absent on the LG WM2077CW, so I had to clogged it with some improvisation. 2. Once installed, there a squeaking noise coming from the drum since the joint rubs against the drum as if it was too thick. The same rubbing generates some joint residues since the joint gradually crumbles where it rubs. 3. Once installed, there is a bump at the base of the joint and water accumulated where it should be draining. - As for installation, I also ordered the "special tool" and install was a real pain even with this tool since the spring hole is fill with the tool tip and almost impossible to insert the spring hook while the tool is used. Should have save money for a new washing machine instead...
