How much water do you add to each packet to make beef broth?

I usually add 3/4 to 1 cup of water to a packet. I believe they call for one cup per packet but it depends on how strong you want the flavor.

Does this beef bouillon contain sodium? Because i cant find that written on the box like you can on the chicken flavor. Thanks!

The box pictured is not sodium free. There is a Herb-ox sodium free beef bouillon and it is labeled like the chicken flavored. It's highlighted in bright yellow "sodium free" on the box.
