The good news is that the battery worked, and appeared to have reasonable performance ... at first. But, whereas the original battery lasted years before any degradation, this part has a much shorter lifespan. After a while, the battery does not hold charge as well, and the battery calibration tracking becomes inaccurate, so rather than giving a low battery warning, the tablet shuts down instantly. That point increases inexorably - 5%, 10%, 30% - until it becomes unusable. So, the battery, and in particular, the number of charge cycles, is clearly well below that of the original. My battery lasted about 9 months. If you have an old tablet, it's cheaper to just get a deal on a cheap 7inch tablet, than replace the battery every year.It does seem better than some batteries. I have not seen any signs of expansion or bubbling that some orders have exhibited, so if you just want a short-term fix, until Santa gives you a new tablet, it's great.
