Best entry level fountain pen - EVER!
Out of the box, easy to fill, easy to clean, and quick to write. Great fill capacity. Works with a variety of inks, and glides so smoothly across the paper. I recommend Tomoe River paper. Dries relatively quickly. Great packaging. I’m so pleased with these pens. Great for beginners! Worth every penny.

Love my TWSBI ECO T
Great fountain pen and I love the large ink chamber. Easy to use and to maintain. Lots of writing before needing a refill!

Best bang for the buck
This is one amazing pen. Easy to fill, holds an insane amount of ink and writes smoooth even on nasty cheap copier paper. Worth every penny and then some.

It's popular for a reason.
Great pen. The nib is decent, and being a piston fill at 30 bucks, it's great value. I personally don't love the grip though. It's not that grippy and the shape forces you to hold the pen a predetermined way, although it does aid it maintaining the correct angle on the nib.

Unbelievably excellent!
Rock solid construction and crystal clear.I initially bought a competitor's model for ten dollars less and it was absolute junk. I bought this as a replacement and it is light years better!Pen comes with a dissasembly wrench and silicon oil bottle for the piston.Construction quality is flawless.Writes like a dream.Nib is not flexy if that's what you're looking for.110% recommended!!Update: Carried it around in a scrub shirt pocket at work - a bit risky! But no leaks so far!The nib's small, round tip allows for smooth lines in most directions. Pen can write at high and low grip angles too!The nib will flex the tiniest amount when moving from light pressure to heavy pressure. The line will get about one third wider, but that's leaning on it a bit!Absolutely no feed issues with Noodlers 'Heart of Darkness' ink.Love it as an everyday writer and doodling tool! I'll absolutely pursue getting a second TWSBI ECO T, either with a factory flex nib, or installing one myself. The standard one I already have just writes too well to change it up!

Excellent product but my order came with a defective nib
The product is excellent. I really like it. Very well made with good quality. One of the two pens I ordered though came with a nib that leaks small droplets and is always dirty (the nib and the cap)

Holds a lot of ink!
These pens hold a lot of ink and are comfortable to hold. Very nice writing and so pretty with bright colored inks in them!

This is one you have to break in, but once you do.....
I bought this model because I had purchase a couple of TWSBI Diamond 580s and found them excellent pens. In fact, they far outperformed a Pilot Custom Heritage 92, which is about 2 1/2 times the price of the Diamond 580. The ESCTO T is $20 dollars less than the Diamond, so I thought it was a good risk. At first, I found the ESCO T dissapointing. I used in here and there, but found it a bit scratchy and draggy (for lack of better terms). For a year or so, I used it here and there, carried it in my messanger bag as a backup in case my other pens ran out of ink. A few months ago, I gave it another try. It still dragged, but I continued to use it. As time went on, I found this pen working better and better, providing nice crsip lines and an increasingly smooth writing experience. It is now my go-to pen, the one I use all the time. I am not sure how a high-end pen performs, but I cannot imagine it perfoming much better than this one. Buy it, work with it, give it some time. It's an excellent pen, especially for the cost.
