Everything went in without a hitch. Starter now working perfectly!

This was a Perfect Fit for my Snapper Snowblower that has a Tecumseh 5HP engine (Model 5230) which calls for original part # 33328D to add as an electric starter. Came with the screws and bolts needed for installation and fit like a glove! Also included was a power cord. Took almost no time to install right below gas tank. Holes for the start button mount were also already there on the engine by the primer. Had a tough time starting with the pull cord on my early 90's snapper for years- usually took 10-30 pulls. This is a huge time and energy saver!I turn off the gas line and let the engine run out the gas when done each time. Then when it's time to blow snow again, I simply prime 3 times, push the starter switch, and it fires right up!

There are no instructions that came with the electric starter so I'm hoping that I installed it properly. There are three types of bolts provided. The ones for the top push button unit are obvious. It is non-obvious how to use the other two types of bolts amongst the four bolt placements.Beyond that, the unit was easy to install and easily starts up my Ariens model 932027 snow blower. It is a good price for a unit that was easy to install and works well with my older Ariens snow blower.

The starter arrived within a few days. I put it on and it worked great. Seemed to spin it faster than the old starter. Only gave it a four star because it showed it with the bolts being furnished and no bolts came with it.

This Starter was a perfect fit for my Poulan Pro. I could not be more satisfied with the quality of this Starter, and the ease of installation. The snow will be here before long and I will be ready for it now.

I purchased for replacement starter on my cub cadet snow blower.... I knew this was not specific for cub cadet, but looked identical and it was, except for the screws... Cub cadet wanted $250.00 for there starter, so $63.00 was as good trade off. Snow blower worked perfectly with this starter.

I installed this starter, plugged it in, pushed the start button and fired up my snowblower that had been sitting for a year. Before I would have to pull and pull to get it to turn over but no longer. If your snowblower has a place to install a 110V starter, save your back and sanity and get one.

The nut does not fit on the shaft of my Tecumseh 33328C starter, the inside is too small. It looks very similar, it just won't fit on the threads.Even though the 33328C starter is not specifically listed in the description it does list this kit working with the 33329 starter, which has the same exact parts. If you look up the part # for the nut, part# 33433A, it is listed as working with the 33328, 33329, 33605 and 33606 starters among a few others.All the other parts in this kit seem to fit my starter. Unfortunately the main reason I bought this kit is because of this nut, it is broken in pieces and I need a new one. Ended up returning due to not being able to install. Shame because this kits a great price.

Everything was received that was advertised and seems to be reasonable quality. Ever thing fit well and once together the starter did its job and turned over and started my snow blower with no problem. Time will tell as to how it lasts. The only problem was with the snap ring, taking off the old and putting on the new. without the proper tool, both these operations were a pain, but I would have had the same problem with the snap ring from any manufacturer. It would be nice and very beneficial if instructions were provided on how to best remove and instal without specialized tools.
