Ordering big for wide feet might not help. Normal feet...go ahead and buy!
I am returning these, but if I did not have wide feet, I would have kept them. I did order a half size larger than I thought I needed, and in length they did indeed seem a half size larger than I needed. Don't try this if you have wider feet...it doesn't help. While I could wear them, the fact that they were slightly tight across the part of the instep/toes that should flex looked like it would create a crease across the top fairly quickly. Since they are not leather, that would probably cause an issue rather quickly. For the price, I might have chanced it if not for the slight flaw with the lining inside the boot. The lining was folded in one spot, causing a gap where the folded material was missing (and a very small but perceptable lump in the lining from the fold flap). The shaft opening is wider than some other boots I own, but I did feel the "stiffness" some other reviewers noted. I would have worn these with long socks anyway, so I doubt that would have been an issue for me. I would have kept these and cut off the lining flap if I had average width feet. I also would have ordered my correct size and anticipate it would fit perfectly. For you lucky gals with normal feet, these will look good and fit fine. Do check the inside lining when they arrive.

Narrow Bridge Ahead
Love the style however they seem to run a little narrow in the width and across the bridge of the foot. Not the most comfortable to wear for an extended period of time.

A bit narrow, but otherwise, pretty great!
The shoe looks exactly like as pictured, although the zipper and buckle detail seem a bit cheap, quality-wise. It fits like an 8, but it is slightly narrower than other 8-size shoes I own.Overall, I am pleased with this shoe.

Stlish and functional..great fit
Love these. Modern, good fit, even though my foot is slightly wide. Warning: you really need to wear boot socks or tights with them, otherwise, until they are broken in well, the top edge can rub your skin as it is a little stiff to start with. Good tread on the bottom, too, which is needed in the winter.

the zipper on the right side does not have the ...
the zipper on the right side does not have the protection as on the left so it rubs on my skin. I hav to wear high socks to prevent it so i can wear these with a skirt or short pants as is the style now.
