Lepy LP-600 Hi-Fi Mini Audio 25W2 Amplifier with USB SD MP3 and Power adapter

I was looking for a way to fix a situation I had with my audio setup at home. I had just installed speakers on the patio and had wired them to my home theater receiver that I had thinking I had some spare speaker jacks in the back for a B channel speaker setup. Oops, I'm using all the speakers for my 7.1 speaker surround system. I wasn't going to lose that. I hooked up an old receiver that still worked well, but far to bulky to continue to use. It verified that the speakers worked, but I couldn't think of a way to fix this properly. I called a buddy in the home theater field and he recommended a T Amplifier. I had never heard of them. Well, I wanted something with a remote and had looked at several different ones that I was interested in that didn't have a remote until I came across this one. Seemed to have things that I wanted. Descent power, Fm Radio, USB and Sd Card reader and LCD window to see the settings. Bottom line, it works. It works pretty well for what I needed! It does seem to have some EQ bass control which I was able to max out to test the unit with my speakers as they can handle the bass and it was not bad! I can't figure out for the life of me treble control or whatever the sort as the instructions that come with the unit are in Chinese or something... Couldn't believe, absolutely no English Version. You can play with it and get a good idea on how most things work. Just damn annoying! There is a blue light to the right of the main knob that stays on in stand by. Wish there was a way to turn it off, but not a big deal. Probably to illuminate the power button to the right of it. The remote has poor signal capture. I programed it into another remote which works just fine so it's the remote with the problem not the Lepy unit. I would like a little better mid range, but all in all it's a nice piece! There were no other reviews out there to count on, so I figured I would get the ball rolling. At this point I'm satisfied and would recommend the unit! I hope someone will translate the instructions and post them for download! .

Was very excited for this. Hooked up to several devices and 2 stereo speakers as planned, real basic and everything went smooth. As another reviewer noted the remote sucks and even with a fresh batt you'll only get about 3 ft of range... at least that's what mine had. I anticipated this by purchasing a universal remote from RCA, however there was no 4 digit code for this device listed in the programming book or online... anywhere. I went so far as to cycle through all 200+ codes for my remote... nada. I was never impressed with the sound and would agree with another users summary of the mid range sounding weak. Finally, after 4 days the unit completely died. Display was completely blank aside from the power light.... very disappointing.

Very good amp for the price. All the features work, as advertised. The only wish I could make is more range for a remote control (even though I didn't try to change the battery - maybe that's the problem). Otherwise - totally satisfied.

so far so good ____ I hooked it into a couple of pioneer tower speakers and a sub and my mp3 player and it sounds good ! and can't beat it for the price !

You cannot believe what this thing can do. The audiois great for such a small unit. The price is right too.
