Is it expensive? Maybe. Is a Maserati expensive? Yep. Are they both like nothing else? Yep. What would you pay for a unique item? Unless you develop a two-jar a day habit, I wouldn't worry about it.This concoction (a nut butter) is really nicely balanced. It isn't going to taste like that ice cream you buy in the supermarket. No, its subtle, and it diffuses on the tongue and builds to a sweet pistachio intensity which slowly fades to a memory of pistaciosity you'll cherish. O.K., that's over the top, but this stuff is really good. And, yeah, its a small jar but not THAT small. I made a pint of very rich gelato using a quarter cup and had plenty left over.If you are a pistachio freak, you need to try this.

Wonderfully smooth and delicious. Excellent product for my mother, who can't eat food with any large or small nut pieces inside. It would be tragic if this product is discontinued in the USA.The only criticism I have is that the jar should really be filled a bit closer to the top, especially for the price.

I got this for making a batch of ice cream and it turned out great! Much better than shelling the pistachios, soaking them, and then straining from the ice cream for sure. It took the whole jar to make a batch (~2qt) with good pistachio flavor. I couldn't resist and had a spoon of this stuff while making the ice cream and thought it was great! I thought the price wasn't too bad compared to other pistachio pastes out there. Definitely worth it for me. Btw, I didn't have the problem as another reviewer did with the quantity in this product.

This pistachio cream product tastes great with bread (for breakfast, etc), however, it was only 1/2 to 3/4 filled when arrived. I knew it from reading others ratings, but I didn't think it could be the case for all. Overall, the product tastes good and I would recommend it, but I do feel thats its over-priced for the amount sold. I have purchased other types of pistachio products- such as pistachios butter, and ate it with adding honey. I felt that tasted better for the same amount of money but more amount of pistachios.

Excellent taste and texture. I used this product for homemade gelato and was pleased with the results. I did not have any problems with the amount in the jar as had been commented on by two other reviewers. This is authentic pistachio cream from Bronte Sicily known throughout the world as one of the best regions for Pistachio growth.

I love this pistachio paste/cream. This brand was specifically called out in a recipe book that I have and I love it. I specifically bought it to make macarons, but used it in some buttercream frosting for cupcakes not too long ago and it was perfect for that as well. I also look forward to using it in homemade ice cream this summer. I don't think the price of the item is bad at all, although I do think the shipping seems a bit expensive, but, since I can't get anything like this where I live, it's worth it. : ) I also don't mind how much sugar is in this cream. I'm using specifically for baking, so that sugar content doesn't bother me.

The jar was less than 1/3 full. For this price, one would expect an entire jar...full to the top. The product coated the inside of the jar so it wasn't until i opened it to find it is mostly empty. It tastes fine, but what am i going to do with 1/4 cup of pistachio nut cream?

Una crema a dir poco strepitosa!!! Buonissima, arrivata nei tempi indicati e ben impacchettata. Spero solo non alzino il prezzo .... cosa che ho visto stanno già facendo! Altrimenti non sarà più conveniente comprarla su Amazon!!! Non aumentate il prezzo!!!!

Buonissima crema di pistacchio di bronte smalmabile! L'unica cosa è che potrebbe costare leggermente meno!! Ottimo prodotto!!

Conoscevo già la crema al pistacchio della Fiasconaro, buonissima. Il pacco è arrivato in anticipo ma non do le 5 stelle a causa del prezzo esagerato.
