Excellent Customer Service.
I bought 2 of these back in February basically to be used for herb grinding and excellent at it they were too.Unfortunately though, one of the units quickly developed a fault and would not stay locked in place. Every time I attempted to use it the bowl would detach itself.I contacted Clarus Products regarding the problem and a replacement was sent out immediately.I love these grinders they are so easy to use and clean and although it is only early days so far so good. Also I cannot fault Clarus Products the speed of their customer service. Excellent all round. Yes I would recommend these grinders based on my current experience of them.

Doesn’t not work properly and can’t get hold of the supplier so can’t get a refund!
Bought this because of the reviews but it is a waste of money as anything you grind leaks out from the bottom of both cups supplied, and all over the worktop and into the motor casing. Tried several times, but still the same problem - there is a fault in the manufacture of the cups. Contacted the supplier 3 weeks ago and still they haven’t responded. Still trying so clearly customer service is non existent, despite their paperwork saying service is very important to them. It may be I have a rogue one, but then they should respond quickly if that was the case. Better to spend a little more and buy from a known manufacturer/supplier!

Perfect chopper/ grinder
I had an older version of this machine from Cookhouse but it was starting to mess me around a bit, ( it was well used). I use to think that think that the other version was good ,but this one is so much better. It's really powerful and grinds/ chops with ease, plus the start / stop is brilliant , all you do is push the whole glass lid down to start and release to stop. Plus the glass top is excellent for seeing what your chopping/ grinding. I have been grinding everything I can find in my kitchen to put it to the test and so far there is nothing negative to say... I loved my old machine, but I think this one tops that..... Perfect and useful for any kitchen.

Excellent Piece of kit at a really good price!
If you are looking for a really good grinder, look no further. This piece of machinery is a real workhorse in the kitchen. Great for grinding just about anything, I have even used it to grind rice for use in a recipe. It works quickly and efficiently and is also very easy to use. I love that I can watch the progress of what I am grinding through the transparent lid. Its also very easy to clean. I highly recommend!

Either too powerful for the designs own good or defective.
Pros:(1) It grinds nuts really quickly. The less in it, the quicker it goes: I used it for very small amounts and for about half or so of the.(2) Two chambers that you can remove and so wash. Yay! Finally a grinder you can wash half decently without drowning the electrics.Thing to note:(1) The wet chamber is not watertight (or mine wasn't...). This isn't necessarily an issue, because being a grinder it only has and it is only a very small leak, and anything in there would likely be too thick for it to be an issue whilst ni use.(2) It doesn't handle unwell chopped leaf additions particularly well if for whatever reason you add some into some concoction in the wet chamber.Con:(1) The instructions advised up to 90 seconds bursts and leave cool for 5 (or maybe 10?) minutes inbetween. The motor seemed so strong that to protect it I only pulsed it for up to about 90 seconds (that is more than enough to grind nuts spices etc with a half full chamber). Today, I was chatting for about ten minutes after it had been on for 90 seconds and it stopped working after about another 10 pulsing. Half an hour later I tried again and it worked for about 10 seconds again before it pooped out. Mine might be a defective machine, or it might be too powerful for the design and the usage instructions are somewhat ambitious... Luckily I'm within the month so am returning it for a refund.

Great Quality
This Grinder has a good weight to it that gives it a good quality feel. I had been looking for a grinder as I have recently taken up cooking curries after a cookery course and it saves a LOT of time if using a grinder for some recipes. I really liked this one as it comes with two bowls for grinding so you could do a marinade of spices as well as the spices for the masala without having to wash or rinse in-between - handy! There is also an additional lid supplied that fits the two bowls, so if you ground spices in advance you could keep them fresh. Recommend!
