The cabbage used for Kruegermann Sauerkraut is grown on the a family owned farm in the Edna Valley near San Luis Obispo, California. Kruegermann allows the fermentation to occur 100% naturally. There are no bleaching agents used to artificially whiten the cabbage. The Sauerkraut is pasteurized without using preservatives.

Consistently delicious!
I have been buying products from this company for many years. Their dill pickles are always crunchy and the flavor has a subtle herbaceousness. Their products are all high quality. They offer pickled beets in a jar that are amazing! The sauerkraut is tender but NOT soggy. It's not overly salted and it works well in so many dishes that you would not usually think of. It's delicious.

Favorite kraut
This is my favorite kraut. Less sharp and a fuller flavor than the grocery store brands and the imports that I have tried. Kind of expensive, but the competition is just not as good, in my opinion. I ordered 6 jars total and all arrived intact.

Fantastic sauerkraut!
Some of the very nicest sauerkraut I’ve bought. Comparable to the handmade kraut my mother in law made (and I, sadly, did not learn her recipe.) This order was filled quickly. All is good!

Wonderful tasting sauerkraut!!
I think this is some of the best sauerkraut there is to be found. I especially like it in a sauerkraut salad recipe that I have, but it's also good as a side dish.
