Perfect match for what I removed.
Wired up easily, fit the existing dash hole. ***Works perfectly, great accuracy. Bought in July 2021, March 2022, not working properly. No engine or wiring problem. The needle floats up and down as though the rpm’s are changing, swinging….not accurate any more? It has lost any accuracy. I am disappointed. It appears the return window has expired? Maybe the manufacture could replace the tachometer? The trim, fuel and voltage gauges are working well and are also new Faria Chesapeake.

Worked As Advertised
The product is very stylish and looks good in my boat. Very easy to install, just follow the easy to read instructions. It connected easily to the existing wiring harness for My 1986 Mercury 150HP Black Max XR2 motor. Very accurate but will have to wait to comment on durability as I just installed it.

New Tach for my Sea Pro
My factory tach finally died 20 years so I replaced it with the Faria. It fit perfectly and connected just as my original so I’ma happy boater.

Works good with my 115hp Mercery 2 stroke
I purchased a used boat. The tach was not working. I purchased this tach to replace the white tach that was in the dash. This tach fit perfect in the hole of the broken tach. The back of the tach was wired the same as the broken one. I replaced the tach with all the same wires. The broken tach was set to the #5 setting. My motor is a 2003 Mercery 115 hp 2 stroke 4 cylinder. The direction said it should be set to #2. Well number two was not right, showing 4 k at idle and all over the place. I changed it to #5, and it is spot on for my motor. I added a few photos, hope this help other folks install this tach.

Does not go on Bayliner
I ended up sending it back, just because I bought the wrong model. But it would have fit well

Not much to go on with the directions.
Product looks nice. Directions are scant. Currently tach works up to 4500 rpm on my 1994 Mariner then it starts bouncing to zero and back up. Could not find my motor on the very small short chart so I had to set it up based upon old tach and hope for the best. I've reached out to the mfg for help. Well see if they respond. I'll update if they do.
