C.G. Jung Psychological Reflections : A New Anthology of His Writings, 1905-1961

As someone who's been reading Jung and Jungians for forty years, this is the book I always recommend to those who ask me where to start with Jung. You can dip in anywhere--just open at random, read one of the selections, and go from there. If it resonates or interests you, you can chew on it all day....... or you can look up the longer piece it is taken from (listed in the back of the book) to explore further. If not, you can open at random somewhere else and find something that engages you more successfully. Believe me, you will find one.

When I thumb open a page at random, there is always some interesting insight, commentary and nugget of wisdom to be found within a few pages of reading.
