HipSlimmer Post-pregnancy Hip Slimming Corset, Beige, Medium

I want to say I love this product however I only used it sparingly since I was so late in the game with purchasing it. Yes, you have very limited motion in this. No sitting, even lying down was almost an impossible task, especially since our bed is so high you have climb in and the corset slides up. I can imagine if you didn't have to move all day it would be fantastic. You really need two ppl to put it on otherwise u just can't get it tight enough, but honestly I find the ties so much more effective than the Velcro from the Shrink hips even if it's not as comfortable or user friendly. You're trying to compress your hips to make it smaller, of course that's not supposed to be comfortable! I only wish I knew about this sooner than 6 weeks post partum. I'm now telling all my friends. Plus i had a c-section, i think it would have been nice to have this as an extra support to hold things in shortly after. Immediately after the c-section, i just used a Belly Bandit, but the way it came together made me pooch out on the buttom where my incision was so it kinda hurt. However it was nice to wear the Belly Bandit and this on top so I was tucked in everywhere. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because mine ripped after the first use. Maybe mine was just faulty who knows, and it's only a little tear but it's still a tear. Otherwise, I believe it would be effective at what it's supposed to do. Can't wait for my next pregnancy so I can really try this right from the start!

Very nice quality. I read the other comments on sizes to figure out what would work for me.I am usually a 2/4 but pregnant I am up to about a size 8 and there is room to shrink.I did' nt want mine too big.I gave it 5 stars due to the quality.I am due in November so have yet to find out if it works.

Great product but it didn't fit as expected .

I bought this product hopping to use it after i had my baby since my hips widen 4 inches. I ended having a c section so i was not able to use the slimmer immediately. However, when i was able i found the slimmer to be very unconfortable to keep on, the material is so unflexible which made it hard for me to move, even trying to get to bed with it on was a challenge. I did return the product.

Didn't fit, never used it

This was something I wanted so bad...too bad it was so uncomfortable I didn't wear it more than once. I would not recommend if you have a busy life or more than one kid.

I where this now being pregnant. I had a LOT of hip and low back pain. I've had it since 5 weeks and am 16 now and it's made a HUGE difference!

I started using this late, maybe about 5 weeks post baby. I would wear it mainly at night since that was the only time I had long stretches of time where I wasn't up and down or moving around too much. I haven't had a problem getting back into my pre-pregnancy pants or jeans and I believe I have the hipslimmer to thank for that. I had lots of aches and my hips really separated while I was pregnant, so in addition to wanting to fit into my clothes again I also just wanted to feel put back together. I watched over the weeks as I had to tie tighter and the space in between the laces shrank inches! This is really well made and you might even require some assistance in tightening it up.
