This particular product picture showed a button on the side. That's to set of the flash to test if it works so wouldn't have use a camera flash. I ordered 6 and none had it. Yay me! Besides not having that button it works as it suppose to do. That's why its a 3 star... Update...just realize they changed the pictures. This is what they should have done in the first place. Good job changing. Shows your mistake. Now I give you 4 stars Review: Excellent and reliable. - Work great. Used two of them for my high school's 50th reunion photos, with two umbrella. Excellent results. I set the camera flash for 1/32 output to trigger these studio strobes that were set to the side. No red-eye. Very reliable, even when other people in the room were discharging them with their flashes. Quick recharge. Consistent output. Very pleased. Used two Fancierstudio E27 Bulb Holder Sockets to secure the umbrella and bulb to stands.

Ordered four of these. Two of them don't work ...
Ordered four of these. Two of them don't work at all. One doesn't fire consistently. Had to return them. The only one that worked right was a different model with the test button on the side.

Work great if working. Out of box 1 no good and does not flash, the other did and looks great,

Slave is not sensitive enough. Flash is slow to recharge.
Slow to recharge. Slave will not fire flash unless another flash is practically aimed right at the slave!!! I'd return this piece of junk if I didn't have to pay for the shipping, but instead I'll just have to hang on to it for something, anything, in the future.

Good product fits most lights I would recommend spending a fewore fillets and getting the one that you can slave since the optical slave does not work in a brighter room

this is awesome 1. cheap 2. bright enough to light a small room with bounce flash 3. no batteries needed 4. handy that you can just put it in the bulb socket of your umbrella stand. Great for beginner photography,
