He has very wide racing tires on and these tire skates were a perfect fit. Very sturdy
I bought 2 pairs of these for my father as a christmas gift to move his 1960 Chevelle. He has very wide racing tires on and these tire skates were a perfect fit. Very sturdy, and VERY heavy but solid. Great product! These do not come with instructions by the way. Not that you really need any. Just screw and torque everything together. And while my father is a car nut... I had to explain to him how they worked despite him asking for them. Yes you need to jack the car up and lower them on. You cannot drive on to them. I just wanted to clarify that. Good luck!

Not rated right
Broke before they ever rolled. I've already received my refund for this purchase but don't go by their rating, used in my truck and broke 3 of 4 wheels on each skate

Not so pleased (this time)
To date I have bought 3 sets of these and in the past I have rated these dollies as 5 stars but this time it gets a 1, due to the fact that 2 casters are missing for 1 of the plates, rendering the dollie useless to moe a car. Currently working out the details to correct the issue with Amazon. When the issue is corrected I'll likely edit my review.

... first glance I thought these were going to be good. They are rated at 6000 lbs
At first glance I thought these were going to be good. They are rated at 6000 lbs. This must be wrong. I have a 19 foot boat on a trailer. I jacked each tire up and out one under. The plate bowed and the casters were on an angle. When I managed to get all the casters under the plate and aimed the same way it started to work. But then both dollys short out from under the wheels. The casters wouldn't even move on their own. Definitely not rated for more than 3000 lbs I don't believe.

excellent product for minimal money
I bought these to move my antique car out of the way when I'm not working on it. They are working beyond my expectations. One person (me) can move my 3500 lb antique car any direction with not too much effort. I leave the trolleys always on, removing them only when I am working on the car. So far, the hard rubber wheels haven't developed flat spots when I leave the car in the same location for long periods. My only regret is not buying at least two trolleys with locking wheels.

Working out well
Purchased these to move my travel trailer around in my garage. We have a single axle Trailmanor collapsible trailer that allows us to store it in the garage. Getting it close to the wall is tricky without banging things up. Bought these to slide the trailer tight to the wall and they have worked pretty well. The trailer is in the 4000 lb area. The casters on ours do not change direction of roll easily. That is why I only give 4 stars. Not sure if it needs bigger casters or better bearings. I'd give them a 5 if it would change direction easier.

Adequate for seasonal use on a clean floor
You get what you pay for with these skates. The casters are made in China. I bought 4 skates - probably half of the caster wheels fit a bit sloppy but apparently passed the Chinese tolerances. I added heavy oil to every bearing before assembling. I was moving 3500 pounds and they got the job done without much struggle. The caster wheels are some kind of plastic - which will develop flat spots if the heavy load is left on them for very long. If they're only used a couple times a year, the price was right.

If you can't lift the box, you'll probably need help moving the car!
Allowed me to rotate my 3200lb car 180 degrees in my two-bay garage. I did this by myself, but an extra person would have sped things up. Be sure to align the casters in roughly the direction you plan on moving before you lower the car onto the plates. This will make it easier to get moving. I had one spot in my garage where there was a eighth-inch height difference between slabs. I just jacked up that corner of the car and put a piece of leftover laminate flooring under the casters, lowered the car and then continued rolling.Product comes dissembled in a very heavy box. If you're lucky like I was, you'll get an extra, fifth plate! Now I just need to buy four more casters...
