Adventures in Odyssey is always a favorite of mine. I grew up listening to it. My son loves history and loves Adventures in Odyssey.

My 8 year old son enjoyed listening to this series. He has been very interested in the revolutionary time period, and we listened to these cds leading up to the 4th of July. Most of episodes involve child characters taking part in scenes from history, but the underground railroad episode was a reenactment of the history without a child's perspective. My son still really enjoyed that episode though.It should be noted that my copy did not have the Arizona Sunrise Native American story, but had an episode about Christopher Columbus instead. This was the episode we enjoyed the least as parents because the main character sounded a bit too obnoxious. The cd as advertised by the producers on their website also list the Christopher Columbus story rather than the Native American story.Although this was an enjoyable collection, I only gave it 4 stars because we enjoyed the Chronicles of Narnia Radio Theater (by the same producers) so much more. That might be something to try out for your next purchase.

My daughter is an audio learner. She has really enjoyed this History CD. She loves Adventures in Odyssey and this didn’t disappoint. My daughter is 6 and some of the content we will have to revisit and discuss together, but it has been a great homeschool history supplemental.

I absolutely love Adventures in Osyssey and so do my kids. I think this particular set interests me more...but that’s fine! I love listening to it in the car. I feel like I learn so much, as well!

These CDs are incredible! All three of my children love them and they are 7, 9, and 11. We have a 25 minute ride to their karate class and we would listen to these CDs on the way and on the way home. One of the side benefits is that the sibling squabbling ended because they were all so focused on hearing what came next. I even found myself driving slower just to hear the end of the story! I learned a lot from these CDs about our country's history and truly appreciated the high quality performances and sound effects of each recording. I just can't say enough about how wonderful these stories are and how they shed light on God's place in our history! Another success for Focus on the Family--they really are the best christian family organization out there!

Love the fun history review for the kids! Odyssey keeps my boys interest and they love being taken back into the events.
