Arrived a day late but it was worth buying. Good quality picture & sound. Bit awkward trying to get it to run, once figured out the menu as I don’t speak foreign language. Overall very good. J Jarvis

I have been trying to get hold of a decent copy of this movie for years. For some reason it was never issued in VHS in the UK, and the region 1 DVD appeared and disappered in a matter of weeks. I am a keen collector but not so keen that I will pay over $200 for a second hand copy.One of Richard Todd's outings for Disney targeted at the younger audience. Walter Scott is a bit heavy going for children, I know, he was my grandfather's favour author and I read all his books before I was eleven, and I can remember seeing this film at the cinema when it was released in 1954. Not one of Richard Todd's best films but worth having if you are a collector or like Scott.Decent transfer to region 2.
