Awesome deal
Everything works as expected. I used the tools to rewire my house (replacing co-ax with ethernet). There was no issues with any of the RJ45. All of them worked on the first try. The color code for the wires helped a lot. Saved me a lot of time researching on google.

Surprised by how good this works! Can't beat it for the price!
I thought long and hard before buying this tool. I seriously considered getting the $100 name brand version because I usually regret buying the cheapo versions. For the price though I decided it was worth a try. Much to my surprise, the thing works awesome! I haven't used the super duper $100 name brand version but I can't imagine it's worth the extra money. Maybe over time the blades on this version will dull but for the price if that happens I can just buy another one. Using this tool I have put around 15-20 connectors on Cat 6 Cable Matters bulk ethernet (also purchased on Amazon). I was worried these push through connectors were too good to be true but they're actually very easy to use. If you're reading this please if anything do yourself a favor and remember this one thing, you have to take the time to straighten out the wires REALLY STRAIGHT. So after you've stripped back the jacket separate the wires and run them individually and then as pairs or as a group between your fingers, kind of pinch at the cable end the pull the wires through your fingers 10-15 times and they will magically straighten out. After a few cables my fingers got sore so I used a cloth to pinch the wires and that worked out pretty nice too. bottom line GET THOSE WIRES STRAIGHT and they will push through easily. If they're even the slightest bit not straight you'll be fighting them. I learned this the hard way fighting connectors while standing on the top of a ladder. if I had only worked the wires for a few more minutes to get them as near to perfectly straight at possible they would had slid right in. A very small needle nose pliers can help a little but if you end up having to push too hard the wire will bend or slip/push into the next wire channel blocking the next wire from smoothly passing through. The ONE con I have with these is some of the little tabs on the connectors that are supposed to spring up to hold the cable in an Ethernet jack don't quick stick up high enough so with a small tug the cable will come out of the port. For the couple of times that happened I slid the boot back and them slid part of the boot under that tab to help prop it up. That worked to keep the connector locked into the Ethernet port. Seriously, for the money, I just can't see how you can go wrong. I really just needed this tool for one home project and if I throw it in the trash when I'm done I'm STILL ahead compared to if I would have paid the $100 for the super tool that doesn't even come with any connectors or boots!

75% failure rate...Update!!!
No directions were included, but I figured out the process without too much difficulty. After making 4 crimps, 3 of them failed to pass. I ended up going back to my standard Klein non-pass through crimper. Returned to Amazon!Update:Company reached out to me to try another crimper. I was hesitant because I don't have time to waste. However, I agreed and received a second unit. Made 4 crimps (2 cables) and they tested good. I noticed the crimpers have what looks like an adjustment screw with lines pointing to pins 1 and 8. I didn't notice this on the first pair, but I believe these are the pins that will give you the most trouble on a crimp. So, maybe this one will be good. Also, a manual is now included. The tool does seem fairly well made, so we'll see how it performs long term. The pass through style crimpers are real nice...much easier to use in my opinion.I only use it for personal and use on our church property, so not a heavy user. Will update review if necessary.

Works like a charm!
Tool is sturdy and solid. Plenty of connectors for a hobbyist. Only made two user errors and then two perfect crimps! Great value.

Good value for the money
I know these are cheaper crimpers, but they work fine for the occasional DIYer. I would have no problem recommending it for anyone wanting to make their own cables.

Great customer service from the business, but purchase the Solsop one instead
EDIT...About a week after this initial review, the business that provides this product contacted me several times through phone calls and email. They really wanted to make it up to me by offering me a replacement or a different style crimper to try out. I told them yes, I'll try another one out. A while later I received the new one in the mail, and it was a much better quality product. The only catch is that it was a product under a completely different name, but I'm assuming it is owned by the same people. The new crimper is from Solsop, which sells for a bit more here on Amazon. So my original review still stands based on the first product, I would not recommend this one. But if you search for the Solsop one, it's a great tool at a decent price. Same company and owners and they very much care about customer service, so I decided to raise my review from 1 star to 3 star. Thank you for the replacement!!**At first glance of this product and the reviews, it sounds like a solid product. I was excited to use it because I work in the security/fire alarm/networking business, and using these tools is an everyday thing. Unfortunately, this tool falls short on consistent performance. Out of 10 RJ45 connectors on a CAT6 cable, it failed to crimp pins 7+8 four of those times, and had a hard time with pins 1+2 the other times. Unlike other tools of this type, typically you'll find that they will cut the excess wire as you crimp the connector. This is not the case with this product, which is aggravating because you have to use another tool to get a clean cut of your extra wire. This tool does have a separate blade for cutting but does not cut all of the wire off because the connector can't fit close enough without damaging the connector itself. This tool is cheap for a reason, it does not perform as it should and you should spend an extra $20 and get a higher quality tool that crimps all the pins every time and also cuts your extra wire when doing so.

Very good quality
I have just bought a crimp tool for cat6 etc. from these guys and I am very happy with it. There is a lot of choice right now for these tools and it must be easy to buy rubbish. I am a bit of a tool geek and this is good quality, I was happy when I first unpacked it. I have only done a few crimps with it so far, more to test it than anything serious but it performs well.

Working exactly as it should
I can’t believe how easy it is to make category five and six cables, I’m using it on a large sailing vessel to upgrade the communication between the various electronics on board so I wanted regular connecters rather than the pass-through, regular are said to be much better in a saltwater environment in keeping the connections clean and trouble free. This works exactly as it should and it’s really easy to use. The bonus little stripper that they included in the package works surprisingly well, couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The included connecters work great and the fact that they’re completely clear you can check your wiring before finally crimping it permanently into place, I also purchased some shield connecters for the really sensitive stuff like the radar.

Good DIY kit
Great value when you only have a few connections to do. I think a professional would want better quality, but I only had a handful of cat 6 connections to make and this was a great kit to do it for under $30. Easy to use. One YouTube video made it very easy to learn. My only complaint is that the connectors are not the "push through" type which are much easier to use, but with attention to detail an amateur can make a solid reliable connection with what's included in the package. Would buy again.

Perfect for my needs
Well packaged and protected. The locking arm with the screw to turn to lock the crimpers in the closed position can be finicky but I don’t care since I keep mine open in my tool pouch for fast and quick use when I grab it so I hate having my crimpers locked closed.Crimpers work and that’s what I needed so I am happy with everything. It even came with some LAN cable ends (or terminators) to get going while more arrive.I will be using this a lot :)

Ok product for occasianl use.
I ran a Cat 5e from my home office on the second floor to the basement I needed a tool to crimp RJ-45 connector this did the job. The tool is OK for home use not not Pro quality but given the price it's fine. The connectors supplied are not the best I prefer the type where the wire stick out and you just cut the excess. These are the type that you push the wire in so you have to skin the main wire very short and work with short wires. The pins bent on one of the connectors so I had to start over, but I managed to make it work in the end.
