Reaching to Heaven: A Spiritual Journey Through Life and Death by James Van Praagh is a book that is up to the authors always high standards. Having read books of this type for years, and by many authors, Van Praagh is one of my two favorites. As a member of a spiritual organization with which he has toured, by all reports he is by far the best Medium out there. The book is lovely and comforting and I recommend this book and this author to those who are interested in following a spiritual path...

Last night I read this book in one sitting from about 9 PM till 1 AM with a few breaks. It is absolutely fascinating. I liked it even better than his first book because it was details that I have never read before. He wrote in such a way that I completely understood what he was saying and why things are the way he explains them. The feeling I had when reading this book was the same as I've experienced when reading CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD - Yes! I've always believed that and never had someone conceptualize it and put it into words! But I also gained a great deal of new knowledge. I feel much better about my concerns about some of my loved ones who may act in unloving ways due to mental illness, when I wondered if that way of being would continue on after death. Now I have a better understanding of how they continue their existence. If only the world would read & understand this - and other books which point out that love is all there is - then we would, indeed, have heaven on earth!

Another very good book from James Van Praagh. A compromising journey from death to life and back again. If you want know God's way, this a good book for you.

it got my attention and held it to the very end. Takes the fear out of discussing death and ghosts...makes it believable that we do have an ongoing life that never ends.

I guess I didn't read the fine print. I thought this presentation was in dvd form, not tape. I have no way of listening to this.

I love James' books, this is just one of a collection I have. All of the books are easy to read and to me make a lot of sense. For anyone who is searching for answers or needs spiritual direction I would highly recommend any of them. I have a reasonable amount of experience of spiritual matters, have taken a spiritual healing course and sat in spiritual development circles; I find that these books add inspiration and are very comforting.Keep them coming James!
