Best of Something You Wish We Didn't Need
Let's be honest. No one wants to wear a mask. It's a pain. Why can't pollution just get lost? But if the air is really bad you are saving your lungs and health. The independent online, tested 5 masks, including: Respro Techno, USA Vogmask, Cambridge Admiral, and Totobobo N95.The respro ultralight won the best buy award. I don't like the plastic nose bridge, it's doesn't stay in when you pinch it. But this is a comfy mask considering the snug fit.

Disappointing.
I was so excited at the thought of not having to endure the pollution i experience on a daily basis but putting this on there is a very noticeable gap between the bottom of my chin and the mask meaning that when you breath all the air your breathing is just coming right up from that gap. I ordered a large as i contacted respro directly with their size measurements and they told me i needed the large. Its a shame because everything else about the mask is great and works perfectly. So so disappointing. Waste of Β£40.

Try before you buy
Given that Respro is given to siftng mild, reasoned criticism from its own website's comments section - at least in my experience - I'm moved to issue a cautionary word here instead.I would urge a great deal of care in choosing your fit. According to Respro's own sizing guide, I fit the criteria of a medium (5ft 7in, 69kg). A shop assistant advised me to buy a large size to be on the safe side. It was only during use that I soon found that even this proved too small to cover my chin and nose securely. What's more, the metal nose pinch, for me, is very painful to wear, especially for prolonged use. Alas, the product is non-returnable.The Respro website urges you to contact its customer services in advance of purchase to check that you are choosing the right size. However, there is no suggestion of doing this on packaging or at point of sale. I would advise you try before you buy.The upshot of this was a rather blunt brush-off from one of the company's comms representatives in response to a query about this issue, which left a sour taste, especially given I had chosen to invest in its relatively expensive product over many alternatives on the market.

Poor fit- really uncomfortable
I was really disappointed in this product- especially considering I paid around Β£45 for it.The fit is terrible. I was careful to buy the right size based on the chart provided, but in use the Velcro strap does up around the base of your neck which creates downward pressure on the top of your nose, making this so uncomfortable it's unwearable. I was tempted to send it straight back, but instead thought I'd try using it to see if it got better over time. It didn't...
