As you can see in my video, this can opener is very easy to use. Only need about 20 seconds to open the can. Very efficient and safe. I can use this opener to open cans, beers and use lever to open covers.

This can opener does not open can's Smooth like it alleges in it's description. I end up cutting my fingers in more than a few occasions after opening a can and touching it. I have open many can's since i bought it and is the same thing with all of them it is not a safe smooth cut. As i pointed out with the picture, the arrows are showing that is not a smooth cut.I really wanted to hold on with this review because i thought that i probably got a bad one since i seen some good reviews about this can opener and i just wanted to send it back and get a replacement and try that one out but i was never able to send it back, i just didn't have the time in my busy life to do it. At least i can warn somebody else to go and get a different one from another vendor since this can opener is just too dangerous to use.

Primarily to open the food can and cap, it works for both. It's easy to handle, doesn't slip in your hands, smooth edges cut flat and can have twisted cans or lids without sharp edges, easy to rotate knobs, steel looks very strong, it's also easy to clean, no after a few washes Signs of rust, comes with an extra beer opener that you can carry with you.

Living in Florida, I got this can opener as a backup to use during power outages from storms/hurricanes. My old antique one needed replacing. This can opener is so easy/comfortable to use. It's sharp and removes the lid effortlessly. Just what I was looking for as a replacement.

not as convenient/powerful as mentioned in other 5 star reviews, used it only twice, each time had to use extra force (or pay other extra attention) to get the job done.update: add one more star to my previous 3-star review: after several more usages of the opener, thus getting more used to how the opener operates, i found the opener to be quite handy (thus quite easy to use, no extra effort needed). so i think the design is solid, one only needs some patience to play around and figure out how to use it more efficiently.

I tried (and Failed) to open a can of hash with this brand new opener. The opener would cut about 3/8 of an inch and STOP! It would not cut any further. I then used a opener about 50 years old with the same basic design to finish the job. I don't know if the problem is with the cutter or with the gear drive that moves the cutter along the top as you turn the handle. The recommendation I give is to purchase one locally so as you can tell them in person to stick this where the Sun doesn't shine.

My only disappointment is that I prefer can openers that open the lid from outside of the rim instead of inside. The can opener itself works flawlessly.

I just received it two days ago and worked for me greatly so far. It is easy to use! It does not take me a while and press hard to open the can which is great to a girl. The price is decent for such a great product!
