Bought these for my daughter, and we used them for Thanksgiving and for XMas turkeys. They held 16-18 lb turkeys perfectly. We put the bag into a cooler, added the cooled brine and then the turkey, and sealed the bag. It was cold enough outside that we could leave the cooler outside. On cooking day, we took the turkey out in the morning, patted it dry, and then let it air dry in the fridge before we deep fried it.

I bought extra because of reviews- wasted my money- really people- it was awesome but if you put a 20 lb turkey in a bag without support and lift it you will have a problem- be smart- go by the instructions, put the turkey on a cookie sheet - In the bag- to move it around. A perfect turkey!

All three bags leaked out off the package. My entire refrigerator was flooded with brine. It was not the turkey nor anything I did. The corners just came apart and leaked everywhere not once but twice I gave up and threw them away.

Do not buy! I bought a pack of two, and BOTH bags had a leak. I had a 15lb turkey in the bag, begun filling it with my brine, and it immediately began leaking. I then had to tranfser everything to my other bag, and that one leaked too!! Absolutely a waste! I saved what I could of my brine, but these bags cost me more than I spent on the bags alone, not to mention a massive amount of frustration!

I decided to splurge on a brine bag this thanksgiving after always using random containers the past 10 years. I don’t know what took me so long. The bag did not leak and sealed well. I put the turkey in the bag in one of those orange Home Depot containers and it got the job done.

I TRIED to use these bags to brine my Thanksgiving turkeys (each about 16 lbs.). I ordered 6 of them and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them sprung a leak at the seam!!! I had turkey brine all over my kitchen floor. Do not buy these bags. They are extremely poor quality and they will leak on you.

The package came with three bags and ALL 3 leaked! With nothing in them...we tested with water and they all leaked significantly...these bags should all be recalled. Unbelievable what a huge waste of money and time this was.

I was very disappointed that my heavy duty brine bag had a hole in it. I lost half of my brine and it spilled all over my kitchen. Very dissatisfied with this product.
