Very handy cards for any DnD player! I love them!

Perfect for games night, easy to use and saves writing everything down twice. Allows you to easily add to the combat if you need to up the difficulty if the party is just walking through your bad guys. Pictures add some depth to the game as well.

Cards in two sizes, lots of critters.It's nice to be able to show the players what they are facing without having to try and hide the stats (as happens with a book).But it would have been nice to have had a couple of blank cards for homebrew creatures as with the spell card decks (my expectations may be a little high)...

These cards don't replace the Monster Manual, what they do, do is help to de-clutter the narrow space behind your DM's Screen. If you have an encounter that features more than one species of creature then these cards save you (The DM) the hassle of having to either write out all the creature stats for quick reference or to be constantly flicking backwards and forwards through the monster manual during an encounter. Which can slow down the pace of the game, take the tension out of encounters, and ultimately ruin your players emersion in the world that you have created.Using the Monster Manual as the starting point the DM can decide which creatures to use in the next session and then pull the relevant cards from the Deck leaving them ready to use during the next game. They come in two sizes either a playing card size or double that. The print is a little on the small size but that is to be expected of somtheing that’s best feature is its compactness. These aren’t invaluable as there are other mtheods that can be used to make battles flow better but they are a quick and easy to use and have helped reduce my planning time.These cards feature the lower level creatures found in DnD and so have proved far more useful to me that the 06-16 Deck that is also available, this deck has made it easier for me to have encounters that follow the hierarchical order established in the MM or Volos Guide to Monsters, Encounters that feature goblins led by Bugbears that are in turn led by hobgoblins. I don’t think that these are an essential purchase as there are still some creatures missing from this deck, and with a little extra work you could create your own version at home, but if you are feeling lazy then these are a definite Boon to any DM already bogged down with planning.

Received my order ahead of time but the product was damaged. The cards are fantastic and hold all the information I would want them to. Just a shame that I both the outer box and a few cards where damaged before I received them

Really nice cards, nice gloss varnish finish on them, very useful if you don't want to lug a book around with you during your session 😉

Perfect for preparing your DM screen beforehand, small enough to have several up at once and much easier to prepare before session than the book.

Muy buen producto pero no todas las cartas son de la misma medida, tiene algunas que son el doble de grande y no cabran en tus protectores regulares

High quality card. The only downside is that some monster of ther basix rules are missing, like the banshee. But overall, it can replace the monster manual for cheaper
