Base let’s cane stand alone
Picky mother in law wasn’t using this cool cane I got her. I think because it didn’t stand on its own. This base fixed that problem. We will see if she starts using it more (fingers crossed!).Base was easy to put on.

What you should know
Contrary to product description, these tips (bought 3 for all my canes) DO NOT enable your cane to remain upright on its own. I usually lean the cane against something, or hook it on something so it doesn't fall. But I do feel as if these tips gibe me more stability as I'm walking because of the larger rubber base.

The elders didn’t like it
Neither my husband nor my mom liked this cane tip. It’s designed to give more stability than the narrow tip, and is easy to install on the end of the cane. I ended up returning it since they didn’t like it. It’s softer rubber than you might expect.
