ATOPLEE Metric Thread Tap,M14 HSS 6542 Right Hand Thread Tap (M14x1.25)

Was able to rethread my oil pan drain hole that was stripped. It seemed too easy to use, but my oil pan is aluminum. I would have liked the new replacement plug to have a little more tightness going in. Felt like if I snugged it up too much it might strip out. Just be gentle and patient with the whole process. My job is not leaking so good is good.

Saved me from crossthread skid plate nightmare - An excellent tap, so much so I used it to "clean" out other non damaged bolt holes and it worked perfectly. Recommended

i fiolishly damaged a couple of threads on my VW T5 when i was changing driveshafts, wheel bearings etc.used this tap and it worked a treat .i used a shifter on my tap.just remember to make sure it is going in square , and keep doing a half tirn back for every fill turn in , to clear any swarf. also back turn if it gets tight to turn .all the best .

Needed this to fix a drain plug hole, came quick, worked great, no issues and problem fixed. Plus price is pretty good for the tap.

It saved me replacing my bike rear shock. The thread was worn and I was thorn between spending £450 for a new one or finding a solution to repair the thread. This did the job.

The tap works well. I have cut several threads so far.

Garage had crossed threaded wheel nuts using impact socket. This tool saved me over £100 on new wheel hubs. Take your time half turn clockwise then quater turn anticlockwise. Keep it oiled and remove completely now and again to get metal shavings out.
