Set of 447 Colors skeins of Cotton Cross Stitch Floss Threads

OK, Ill start this review with the one niggle point, get it out of the way - not every colour is a direct match for its shade code on the DMC shade card. Im guessing at about 92-93% near perfect matches. I'm a bit of a colour-nerd having been a pro-photographer. However I also think this is actually a stunningly high number of matches given the cost & quality of these threads, hence I am not marking down in any way, its far better than I expected! Anyway, DMC is boring, variety is good! *laughing*So, the actual thread (floss for those who prefer that strange term) is lovely! It feels like quality in your fingers, soft and supple yet strong. It sews up well regardless of whether you are using 1 strand through to a full 6, and has that lovely gentle sheen you expect from good quality embroidery thread. The colours are vibrant and consistent.Overall, I am beyond impressed with this product and it's probably my top Amazon purchase of the year so far - and trust me, mobility issues mean Amazon gets a LOT of business from me so to be my top buy is top of a VERY long list!

What great value for 477 skeins of floss for stitching. Beautiful colours and perfect for my crosstitch.

I've been wanting a master set of threads for sometime now, however I cannot justify the money for a DMC one! When searching for it however, I found this set and now I'm a complete KCS convert!They are such good quality, a pleasure to work with - and hardly any knotting whatsoever!I've thought about what will happen if I run out as singles aren't an option, but honestly I'd happily re- purchase this entire set and just have duplicates. I recommend their aida too 👍

Excellent quality although large number of joined skeins where threads have had to be joined to make the 8m length.. Most colours almost perfect match for DMC. If they had all matched perfectly it would have been 5 stars. However if you are using all these threads in your design it won't matter much. Would buy again.Hope they add the newer colours.

I was amazed at what I got and, the quality of the threads, for what I paid! Great colours which appear to match DMC colours. Have used a few colours and the threads don't "wear" in use and thin like many cheaper ones. Storage was a problem, only because I never expected that many, but a minor issue. Lovely colours. Very impressed with quality, value and service, came very quickly.

These are a good alternative to the more expensive dmc thread. The quality is good although in my opinion dmc is better quality. But as these are a fraction of the cost they are good if your on a budget. They come in a bag and are bungled in group numbers you also get a chart with all the numbers on, I spent a couple of hours ticking them off ,every one was there . I’ve got the new dmc colour chart and matched some of the colours, they are a good match, I’ve also done a comparison I’ve included a photo to show.

Really good quality threads. Comes with a thread list and the colour numbers seem to match DMC. Great way to refill your thread boxes. Ideal for people new to sewing.

I could never afford to pay £500 for a full set of authentic DMC, but this set is available for a tenth of the price and is absolutely outstanding. I checked every skein against the checklist and there wasn't a single one missing or a duplicate. I checked them against my small number of known DMC and Anchor skeins and every single one was a dead dupe. You should also probably think about investing in one of the DMC and Anchor thread charts available elsewhere (the ones with the actual thread samples) and with those you can cross match all three manufacturers. These are a fantastic start to your collection or add to an established stash.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hier unschlagbar. Bei 447 Farben war keine einzige doppelt vorhanden, sie kamen super sortiert an, sogar mit einer Liste der gelieferten Farben. Ich bin jedenfalls begeistert und die Qualitätsunterschiede sind im Vergleich zum Marktführer jetzt auch nicht so gewaltig. Kann ich also uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ça a mis du temps à arriver, mais je suis ravie du résultat les couleurs sont très belles et le fil est de bonne qualité.
