Moldex 4200N95 4200 Disposable Respirator, White (10 per Dispenser)

I've been using the Moldex Airwave 4200/4600/4800 series masks for the past year and they are absolutely one of the best when it comes to breathing comfort and durability. I have worn these while going on 2-3 mile walks in 80+ degree Hawaiian weather and they don't fog up my glasses or move around on my face due to the comfortable foam inner lining. The 4200 uses rubber band head straps which are not as comfortable on my shaved noggin as the 4600/4800 series but their lower price point makes them a great N95 mask to consider now that it's easier for the average person to find one at a reasonable price.The accordion type design of the mask increases the effective surface area which allows you to breathe easier. I've tried at least 30+ different N95, KN95 and KF94 masks and the Moldex Airwave series masks are at the top of my list for comfort, durability and overall performance.

This respirator is perfectly useful for filtration of nuisance dust from abrasive finishing of wood, metal and stone working. It compares closely in function and product longevity to the 3M 8210 disposable dust mask. It falls short in comfort especially for people with a large head, big nose or full beard. The rubber straps do not elongate when stretched hard like the 3M product so there is no adjustment for individual variations of proportion. Its held hard against your face by sturdy rubber straps resulting in discomfort over long periods of time. IT IS NO BETTER AT PREVENTING SAFETY GLASS FOG UP! In fact it is a little worse than the 3M as there is no aluminum band at the nose bridge to make adjustments but rather an inner foam pad that seals against the nose in a one size fits all sort of way. The fog up issue was particularly disappointing as the reputation for preventing fog up is the reason I tried them. All in all an OK dust mask, no improvement over existing products, don't pay extra for it.

For someone who works in a compounding pharmacy and has to wear a mask most of the day, this mask get my award for best invention ever! This mask is comfortable, and since it does not use a "valve", you do not feel like every breath is a struggle. The mask is cooler to wear since air actually moves through it. I cannot recommend this mask enough. We saw this mask in an safety magazine ad and ordered samples. Now we are on our fifth box and many of us wear this as our preferred mask.

Discovered size when reading package, "Medium/Large"Too small. Not enough strap to adjust. Not comfortable.No mention of size in amazon listing.Otherwise appears to proortect okIf it were big enough would have a 4-5 rating.

Good mask. Comfortable and seems to be effective.
