Love this for my little coffee area

I really thought this was the taller straw holder and would fit all of my straws. Well it’s either wrong on the height or the label on my straws was wrong because it did not fit all of my straws. The paper ones fit perfect so I am still getting some great use out of this.

When I was growing up all we had was paper straws and I remember them getting soggy and ripping apart. I hated it. I remember when plastic straws came out, because we were killing the rain forest for all this paper. Now they are complaining that plastic straws are killing the ocean. I say the plastic straws are NOT killing the ocean, it is people who are. You can not reuse a paper straw. I reuse my plastic straws and this little do-dad is the perfect place to store all my plastic straws that I wash out and use over & over again. My grandkids love to get their straws from it. I save all the straws that come into the house in this handy container. Now, what to do about those over-sized plastic drink cups & water bottles that people throw on the beach?
