Perfect - well made, came fast - exactly as advertised
BCS DYB2003 Unit - arrived fast! Looks great, made solid. Appears easy enough to configure, and the little instruction sheet seems good enough. There is also a full manual you can download. It is referenced on the instruction sheet. If you use a smart door bell, seems you need an additional part - I'll need to request it.Comes with: 1) BCS unit with a micro sd card installed, 2) 3 sockets, 3) instruction sheet, and 4) a SD card carrier in a plastic case (You need this to plug the micro SD card into a computer and manipulate the sound files.) *PRO - it appears to work as intended, and I am very excited to have it. Not as many sound files as I hoped, but the internet is your friend (be careful out there) and find, create, or edit your own sound files. I'm pumped - this is so kool.CON - nothing really, everything you need is here - and you should already have your 16vac, I went with 30va to potentially handle 2-3 door bell buttons lighted, and some door bell buttons. It will be worth a read of the pdf manual for it to work as intended. And my ratings are in part from playing the sound files on my computer since I haven't installed it yet.- the default for the unit is to work with NO door bell button (or contacts) where NO means Normally Open Contacts. When you press the door bell button - it closes the contact. Normal is considered the state of a contact when it is sitting untouched; or if you have a relay, its the state of your contact of choice when the relay is unpowered. (in case you wondered). Contacts can be NO normally open; or NC normally closed. NO is the default for this unit, but it will work with NC as well. The sockets are kind of kool, but you have to initially guess where they go, and their orientation. All sockets can likely be plugged in any of four ways. The right side, spkr/pwr, can be plugged in has a conflict with a mtg screw next to it, in 2 of the 4 options. There is a correct way to install, if one looks carefully, there is a right way, which assures the socket works as intended, and has four prongs which keep it offset from touching the circuit board on the off-wire side. Not a big deal, just an observation. Shouldn't stop you from getting it to work no matter how you install it.Instruction sheet is good enough. It arrives as a 8.5 inch sheet, double side print, folded into quarters. If you look close, it has the correct socket orientation on it. Easier to see in the pdf in color, but it is right there for you. The sockets are a good addition, really simplify the installation. This is what I've found so far. I did download the PDF manual, made a copy of the SD card on my computer, and since I bought the unpainted item, will paint it. I expect to remove the speaker before I paint it, but with painters tape, should be an easy spray on the outside only. Looking at the unit, it looks like it is built to hang on a #10 pan head screw and gravity keeps it in place.Full disclosure - it doesn't take an electrical engineer to install it. Anyone willing to configure a DIY door bell should be able to use this; and if your computer literate drag/drop sound files or search the internet you should be good to go. (As it happens, I am an electrical engineer hah ha h.)The plan: have all the parts already in hand. I'm going to use it for Halloween, here's how. I'm going to put a barrier across the front stairs (social distancing) and Halloween decorations. 6+ feet away is my door. I'll put this door bell on my front stoop away from weather, on a board. I have an amazon 4" round packing tube. Press the door bell button 1 - Halloween greeting; I press an inside button 2 - which welcomes them ghoulishly but G rated, which includes directions put their bucket by the tube. I drop a wrapped candy or two into the tube (gravity does the rest). Press button 2 again, and it says - thanks for coming - have a great Halloween - etc. That's the plan.So to do this I need a smart BCS unit with the right sounds, transformer, two door bell buttons, and a shipping tube. The rest is up to your imagination.Still reading?* (jokes on me), I tried the SD card on three computers, and it wouldn't even detect it. Went so far as to trouble shoot the computers, and my SD reader. Wow, 3 computers, two operating systems, I was going to give BCS support an ear full - but wait. Looking closer, it isn't an SD card, but an SD carrier. Oh yeah, it has a micro SD card, where is it. Yup, plugged into the BCS socket. Put it in the carrier, put it into my computer and it is working as intended. A label on the plastic case that this is a SD carrier, micro SD installed in the units socket would go a long way. Or pay a little bit more attention to the product description. Hah, ha, h

This doorbell is almost impossible to install. The connection ...
This doorbell is almost impossible to install. The connection screws are way too small, don't hold the wire well, and the two speaker wires are very fragile. The pull off of the solder joint at the slightest tug.

If you have a video doorbell, ask YourBell tech support for the required interface device.
This product is exceptionally well built and support is nothing short of outstanding. On top of all that, it’s a heck of a lot of fun! The Amazon listing is a bit misleading in that it says the unit is compatible with video doorbells like NEST. It is but not without a special interface which does not ship with the product. When I contacted tech support, they went out of their way to make sure I received the needed interface at no charge. Problem solved. Highly recommended.

Great chime.
Took a while to figure out everything. I just wanted to play one tune. In the end it works great.

Exceptional Product and REAL customer support
I bought the white version of this on Amazon in 2016. Back then I had issues getting Ring Pro to work with any chime including those on Rings compatibility list. Their support was horrible, frustrating and maddening and ineffective. Completely opposite with YourBell and they helped me get it working. Then recently the system stopped working again. Ring provides customer support the modern way - faqs, explanations of simple issues without any further explanations or what ifs and a call center with employees trained to read situational scripts. So I went to yourbell again and in 1 email reply from them my issue was resolved; ended up being due to part of the Ring’s side of things. Yet Yourbell knew the solution. Live person support with people that are knowledgeable of their product and products that connect to their product and responsive.I recommend this product highly just for that, but great news is the product is just as great. Not flimsy cheap materials - quality look and feeel and function. If you looking at this - click add to cart now.

Made in USA!
Well made product made in USA. Little micro SD card lets you use dozens of provided ring tones or u can drag and drop your own. I have an 8 note Westminster (front door) and simple ding dong in back. Also James Earl Jones (from Lion King) mixed as an alternate. Easy to wire.
