This device just works. Plugged into new MB Air and was able to shoot out signal to HDMI projector. Thank you so much for a great device at a great price! I would like to see an older thunderbolt port integrated for my old cinema display but this device packs so much in, you can't ask for everything lol.

Based on the manufacturer’s answers to questions, this is supposed to work with the iPad pro 2018. It doesn’t, at least not fully. There is no audio output with the iPad Pro 2018.I will say that I I also tested it with a Macbook, and it outputs audio fine when paired with VGA there. So if you just need it for a Macbook, you should be okay. But when I try the same with my iPad, there is no audio (whether the VGA is connected or not). So if you need this for use with an iPad to export video and audio, I don’t recommend it.Update: Lifante reached out to me and sent me a replacement unit, which I appreciated, so I am increasing my rating a bit. However the replacement unit still does not work with my iPad for audio. It works fine with my Macbook, so again, if that’s all you need it for it would be fine. But don’t count on using this with the new iPad pro.

Very compact. Bought it for my fiance, but she hasn't used it.

Worked well at first but, after moving and reconnecting my monitors, I attempted to extend the display using this VGA to USB C adapter and it just stopped working. Did a number of test and confirmed that it's the adapter that isn't functioning.

It's awesome. I'm using it on a new MacBook Pro, and it really surprises me at such a price. It includes both HDMI and VGA-fully that satisfied my speech-given needs, there is also USB 3.0, USB Type-C, audio jack output works well when connects with HDMI or VGA port. Moreover,It is small enough so I can carry all the time, just gives me all the connectors I need. I can't ask for more with its price.

I like that it was compact. I don’t like that you can’t charge and run devices through the USB. Also it feels kinda half metal half plastic like its lighter that I expected. Also you going to have a hard time using any hard drive over 3tb.

This adapter does not work for iPad Pro 2018. No audio comes out of the audio out. The description makes it seem like it’s fully compatible.

I bought this for my surface book, just works exactly as expected. I used both HDMI and VGA ports without issues to extend my display to a second monitor. Also it is pretty light so I can keep it with me all the time. Happy to say good value at this price.
