Okay so let me be honest—keeping a bird cage clean can be… a whole thing. Between the feathers, food bits, seed hulls, and the occasional poop-splosion 💩 (bird moms KNOW), it adds up fast. I live in Georgia, where it gets super humid and warm, so I needed something that cleaned thoroughly without being harsh or having that gross chemical smell—and THIS bird cage cleaner totally delivered. I use it for my cockatiel, Berry, who’s super sensitive to smells and sounds, and I was sooo nervous the first time I tried it. But the scent is actually really light and clean—like a gentle herbal or citrusy smell, NOT fake or overpowering at all. Berry didn’t even blink when I sprayed it near his perch area, which was a huge relief. It works REALLY well. I use it on his bars, platforms, the tray under his cage, and even on his food dish area (I rinse afterward of course!). It cuts through dried poop and sticky fruit residue like MAGIC 🪄—I usually let it sit for 30 seconds and then wipe, and it just comes right off. I don’t even have to scrub hard, which is amazing because I clean his cage daily and don’t want it to feel like a chore. Also, it doesn’t leave any weird residue behind. Some cleaners I’ve tried in the past made the cage feel sticky, but this one just wipes off clean. No streaks on his platform perch, and no weird shine on the plastic either. Another thing I appreciate is that it’s made with bird-safe ingredients, so I don’t have to panic if he licks something later. I always let it air dry for a minute or two, just to be extra careful, but I love knowing that it’s formulated specifically for birds. This product works fantastic when it comes to cleaning bird cage and removing bird poo, however, it has a pretty strong chemical smell that sends me into coughing attack while using it. So I don’t use this with bird in vicinity, as even though I have a few respiratory issues, other cleaners don’t make me cough. So, knowing how sensitive birds respiratory systems are, I take the extra precaution of keeping her away from the cleaner.

I have 3 birds and clean their 2 large floor cages with this. Really gets the dried poop off. A little goes a long way.

Ive used several cage cleaners. This by far is the BEST! My Grey walks all over the house. We have wood floors. Anyone with birds know their poops can turn into concrete... haha. I dont always catch him pooping. When I find one I've missed. I spray it and leave for a minute or less and with 1 wipe, come righ up.

1 of the 4 bottles was leaking into the inner packaging resulting in a loss of about half the bottle. I had to scramble to save the remaining product.
