Franklin Sports Replacement Ladderball Bolas

They seem to be very durable, maybe a little too heavy and durable for kids… might knock someone out or break a window, lol

Durable, good product for price- I haven’t had a chance to try them out yet but they look great.

Our old ladder golf bolas were breaking so I bought these. They work great but seem a bit flimsy. One blue ball flew off on second use but we managed to push the string back through the hole in the ball and made a bigger knot to hold it on. Next time, I might choose to spend a bit more and get a more durable set.

After loaning out our ladder ball set, it was returned missing 2 red balls. This replacement set is even better than the original balls, which were larger and softer plastic. These replacement balls are more like golf balls, so I suspect they will last longer.

They feel good but we quite literally threw it 5 times and twice we’ve had a ball detach from the string. It appears they aren’t knotted sufficiently. We have to untie the knots holding them together and retie them which is a drag. We’re not throwing these super hard and are playing on grass so not sure what’s going on here but we’ll need to find other replacements.

I purchased a ladder ball set from Walmart the other day. Took it out to play with company and one of the ladder balls string was too short to even throw it..I was happy to find replacements that were all the right size string and brand here on line so the game can continue!

I bought these to accompany some silicon-based balls I already had. Didn’t realize these were basically golf balls on strings, high was disappointing, but that’s my bad. Taking them on their own terms, they’re ok. I mostly use them in a tailgate environment, playing on pavement near many parked vehicles. They’re golf balls on strings, so they bounce and roll quite far, and are potentially hazardous to any fragile objects they may hit (like cars or flower pots). They are susceptible to superficial damage from rolling/bouncing on pavement, leaving them scratched and pokey in the hand. Also, after fewer than 10 uses, the string broke free from one of the balls, so I hat to cut the string to repair it, leaving one set of balls slightly shorter than the others.If you’re playing mostly on softer surfaces, away from objects that could be damaged by flying golf balls, these should be fine. If not, seek out the softer, silicone-based sets.
