This is the only stuff I use for my snake 🐍

This is my favorite bedding for all my snakes and large lizards. It is not as 'scratchy' or fiberous as other types of coconut bedding. Several animals like to dig and bury themselves. For animals that require extra humidity I add some spagnum moss. Spot cleaning is easy, I just scoop up some surrounding bedding with any droppings.

I been using this for my tortoises for 2 years now it works great and humidity keeps well but if your at all hands on with this substrait which who isn't there are tiny tiny splinters that come of the peices that barely visible to the eye so get your tweezers .....works great tho!

I've been using this bark for over 20 years now and my corn snake hasn't had any issues with it. There is usually a barky smell for a few days but it's not very offensive and goes away quickly. This stuff is loose enough so that my snake can burrow himself in it easily but sturdy enough to keep things in place. Sometimes I will get some moisture coming off of the bark where my heating pad is but that also goes away after a week or so.

Love the scent and how clean it is. My tortoise seems to enjoy it. They can absorb a lot f moisture which is great for rainforest animals.... which my tortoise is. she like to bury herself in it, as does my snake. I'm glad this bedding doesn't compress as much as traditional mulch does- this was its less replacement and more eco friendly in that way. All the better for snakes to shed on

This is 100% fir bark and good for most reptiles, i’m using it for a tortoise. The bark chips are bigger than they appear on the packaging and that’s a good thing if you don’t want your pet to ingest it.My bag was clean and free of bugs.Shipped and arrived quickly.
