When I walk my dog on this lead she can pull about 2-3 feet extraThere is a handle close to the collar to allow full control over the dog for crossing roads etc.I personally feel that getting hold of the handle is tricky if the dog is pulling already (mine is always excited at the start of the walk - so thats always)This design is to stop your pet getting a whiplash effect and I like itOn the other hand my wife hates it and prefers a short lead that i hateSo clearly you are not going to know if you love it or hate it until you try it!Its a good well made product and if you know you need a bungee lead with lots of stretch its probably ideal - 4 Star from me because i think it should have (another ?} handle half way up the lead the one at the collar is useless for my situation

Bought this as was on a deal at £9.99 didn’t think it would last long but then I bought 2 more at full price as they are that good. I have big dogue de Bordeaux that every now and again act silly and try to run. This takes out all the shock and strain from them pulling.Also added bonus is a handle lower down for my dogs I hold that when sat at busy roads and works a treat. I don’t know about longevity yet but the short term results give it a 4-5 star.

We're on our second of these after our dog chewed a bit through his last one (our fault, not the lead). It's a different, more comfortable experience using one of these over a normal non-springy lead. Ideal for a pully and excitable dog. The spring isn't enough for you to sacrifice any control.

This is a fantastic lead! I have 2 Jack Russell dogs & I have had many leads but this one tops the lot! Very strong & good quality! I attach it to a dual lead..I especially like the bungee feature makes the daily walk a breeze! Would definitely recommend..

Bought for my Springer who is terrible for pulling when on the lead. I still use it now and still in great condition. The coil spring does reduce the pulling whilst walking but he can still pull. The spring makes it more difficult for him to pull as has a delayed reaction when he tries to. My dog is much better when using this lead but does get caught in the moment on walkies still. Would recommend as it has reduced the pulling

This lead is so good as my pooch can suddenly lunge at a cat or skate boarder and this reduces any pressure on the person holding it as it stretches out.

We had purchased a sweetie lead when we first rescued our dog, and although the lead was great in terms of how it was made, length and just the overall quality, it was not so great for an anxious dog that was very scatty and pulled a lot on walks. I decided to search for a lead ideal for a dog that pulls and was happy to see that sweetie had this bungee lead as I loved the quality of our other sweetie lead and I was glad that I stuck to this brand, this lead is just perfect in every way, there is no strain on the lead when my dog pulls meaning no sore arms/shoulders after a walk, it's super comfy to hold, well made and my dog walks so much better with it, I love that second handle further down the lead as well as I can have better control over her in certain situations, hands down this is the best purchase for a dog that pulls.
