Complex instructions, not for the faint of heart, maybe good for the crafter that just ties strings, but not the rest of us. Most easier and more rewarding stuff out there. and very spendy unless you really can use this.

At last, a long-awaited, well-researched work is out, and master braider Rodrick Owen does not disappoint. Together with art educator Terry Flynn, the two have put together a splendid work exemplifying and teaching Sling Braids, particularly those that carry some threads up a core, to swap them out for color changes along the length of a braid. There are plans for building a Core Frame stand that Rodrick has developed with the aid of Doug Newhouse, as well as a braiding card tucked in at the back cover for those who want to dive into these complex braids immediately. Highest marks of achievement among complex braiders of all kinds.

lovely book - all information is in it to make colourful braids - from simple 4 strand to more complicated 24 strand - I have since had a Braid Society workshop with the author and am getting much better at the techniques involved.
