Well Built! Works Well! HIGHLY recommend!
HIGHLY recommend! There, I said it again. I purchased a 43mm-52mm Metal Step Up Ring to attach this lens to an old Canon VIXIA R80 for my wide-angle shots. After reading complaints on all of the built-for-VIXIA (43mm) wide-angle lenses showing the (circular) outer rim, I wanted to make sure and buy a larger lens. This works perfectly! I've attached stills from two videos: one with, and one without this lens. And sorry about my filthy picture window; it's still too cold to step out and wash it! LOL The first thing to note: It's heavy. And I mean that in a GOOD way! It's absolutely solid! Metal housing, quality glass on both the macro and wide-angle lenses, and a secure fit where they are threaded to each other, to the step-up ring, and to the camera. The second thing: It comes with little extras that I had not been expecting: A rubber lens cover that press-fits securely to the front of the lens, and a vegan-leather (PU) carry bag, both of which I will be using even though I didn't know I needed them. The front of this lens is a good 85mm across, which would be the main reason why this baby is so heavy! The third thing: It is definitely fish-eyed. I left in part of the window frame in the wide shot (top right), so you could see the amount of curvature. Remember that I'm shooting through a sized-up 43mm fitting, so this is really just the center of the 52mm Altura lens. And once again, I HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent value and functionality
Do you find yourself wanting to capture wider, fuller landscapes or take perfect shots for social media posts at not quite the right size? There’s no need to look any further at expensive wide angle lenses to better your casual shots; this filter thread mounted lens has you covered. It’s quick to mount/dismount, maintains original sharpness/definition, and has compatibility across brands and generations. You can mount this on a filter from your collection or throw a new 82 on the front of it if you’d like to expand your gear supply. This piece has worked wonders going all the way from a mirrorless Sony A7III down to an old 35mm Canon AE-1. There’s no noticeable increase in any autofocus noise level, and film shots especially love this fun add-on by capturing more details in each exposure. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend if they needed an easy, economical solution to the problem of expensive lenses. Here’s an example of a high exposure B&W shot taken with the lens added to a 50mm Sony E-Mount; my favorite and best model was staying classy with her feathered ears being prettier than many people’s own hair.

Great Alternative with a Great Price
I was searching the market for a wide angle lens. I want to do more vlogging so it’s a must with the Nikon D5100. I’m currently using the standard VR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G. All of the lenses I found were way out of my price range. Until i saw this product. The Alturo Photo .43X WIDE ANGLE HD LENS ATTACHMENT. The delivery was pretty fast two days with my Prime account. The product is made of metal and the build is very nice. It’s very sturdy and durable. It do any feel cheap. The look of it does not match with its price. I paid 24.99 for this product and it looks more expensive than that. I’d say at least $75 The quality of the wide angle is perfect for vlogging. It does add a bit of weight to the camera as a whole when holding the unit with one hand. However a two handed photo shot should be fine. You might need a strap for this. The BONUS detachable SUPER MACRO lens was an awesome surprise. I didn’t know i needed a macro lens until i used it and saw the detail in the photos. Great addition. So that’s two lenses for $25 bucks. When i was looking to pay over $200 for one. Pretty great deal in my opinion. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because of the weight. And also the fact that you can’t just attach the Wide Angle lens to your lens, you have to have the Super Macro attached. But u don’t need the Wide Angle to use the Super Macro. Not sure how u would accomplish this: lessen the weight and make them both independent units. Overall, i would say get it. For $25 bucks it’s a steal. Nothing to lose with this purchase. I will upload more photos once i have them done. Here are a few of the lens attached to the camera and on their own. Good product. Great Price. Great Quality.

Worth the price
I’ve only played around with this, haven’t had a chance to really go out and take a bunch of pics with it, so please excuse the random pictures of bathtubs, house plants, ect. Seems to work really well and be well made for how inexpensive it was. Obviously not high end quality... and you do lose focus around the edges but I’m okay with that. Any pics I’d be taking with these would be of one or two objects at most so the blurred edges could be background, not planning on doing while family portraits with it. The wide angle gives quite a bit or extra space to the edges, able to capture more in a photo than without. Photos I’m uploading are of without either lens, with the wide angle lens, and with the marco for a comparison of all. Only issue I have is that there was a little nick in the thread of one side that I think is the cause of this rather loud sound when unscrewing the lens. I’ll try and upload the video. However aside from the annoying sound, it doesn’t seem to effect it from attaching properly. The box was also a little dented when it arrived and wasn’t sealed so it made me feel like it might have been a return or something... but I couldn’t see any issues other than the one nick I previously mentioned.

Camera - Nikon D3400 Pro - This now helps in taking those wide angle n macro photo of you are fan of it. This is an add on to your existing 18-55 lens. Con - threads are bit delicate i feel n can't be used with a hood (if any one know please let me know) Other wise is a great addition to my camera. Go for it.
