Dua Belibis Saus Cabe Sambal - Chilli Sauce, 535 Ml

GaGa seems to have discontinued their Cabe Rawit which was amazing. This is the only indonesian hot sauce that comes close -- in my opinion it's greatly superior to the ABC hot sauce. Not only a little spicier, but also much more flavorful. Cannot recommend enough. Goes great in any soup indo mie. Goes on chicken. Goes on fish filets.

I’ve loved this sambal for many many years, and prefer this one rather than the more famous “ABC” brand (Sambal ABC) as my regular condiments. It’s never absent from my pantry. I like this new bottle design—so easy to squeeze the sambal out, compare to the old school glass bottle design which is hard to use.The sambal always paired great with many things: from bakso (indonesian meatball soup), fried tofu & tempeh, fried or grilled meat (chicken, beef BBQ, ribs, etc), eggs (scrambled, omelette, sunny side up, etc), ramen, bibimbap, fried or steamed wontons/dumplings, and many more.

When I first got the Saus Cabe, I was disappointed and thought, "this is just like sriracha!"After I used it a bit I realized that while it is not only thicker, the sweetness is more complex. I suspect it is because sweet potato is one of the ingredients. I like it a lot better than sriracha now. It is thicker and VERY SLIGHTLY less hot than sriracha. I really enjoy it and would take Saus Cabe over sriracha any time. I like it.

I go through a bottle a week. The only thing that matters from my home country tbh
