I purchased this some time ago, but just recently used for the first time. It was very simple and u am pleased with the result. The snaps are small and plastic. I used to close the end of some lap weights( weighted bags used for students to help with focus) I wanted a cover that could be removed easily to wash since the whole thing is full of dried beans or rice and can’t be tossed in a wash. They were easy to install, seem very study. The tool seems substantial enough and I appreciated the extra parts (replacements) and the variety of snaps that came with the kit.

Tricky to get the hang of it, and the thickness of the fabric matters a lot more than metal snaps. I ruined a lot of snaps figuring these out

I bought these pliers to make a top quilt for my hammock. Using two Costco down throws, I had doubled up, I added snaps to the bottom and bottom edge for a footbox and to tuck in the bottom edges of the quilt.The tool itself is easy to use and makes applying snaps a breeze. It does seem slightly flimsy, but it doesn't seem to effect it's use. I do think I'll need to take care not to be too forceful.The supplied 80 snaps are similar to the quality of some snaps I had ordered earlier. I don't care for some of the colors as they are light pastels that would be appropriate for infant projects and such...The value is very good as the name brand model of these pliers is about 50 percent higher and that doesn't include the added snaps.

Have only had it a few hrs so can’t really comment on durability but it feels sturdy & I’ve added snaps to my duvet cover already! I’ve fever used one & was not sure about the spare pieces included but I did 1 test snap & then got to work. I was gonna buy pricier Kam brand but chose this set b/c it was one of the few that included 2 different sizes & since I was trying to match the snaps that came on the duvet it was easiest to get 1 kit with 2 sizes. This kit has pliers sized for T3 T5 & T8 snaps but only includes T3 and T5 snaps which I was unclear on based on the product details. I needed T5 so it worked out. The colors are not great but now I know the size I want I’ll order a bunch of white & still it’s an excellent deal. The snap I installed was in woven cotton about the thickness of a thick bedsheet. I think it could handle a bit thicker fabric. Note in my kit the peach & light blue are T5 & other colors are T3.

I have no problem using it. If you need to use the smaller snap button, remove the black piece on the plier using the screw driver that came with it. Replace with the smaller black piece. Very happy and satisfied with the purchase. To those who complained about not working for them, they should sit down and learn to use it properly. Be patient! It really works if you take the time to figure it out! It's all worth it, great value for the money! Thank you seller!

These are so handy and relatively easy to use once you realize that the inner circle can be warped if squeezing too tightly to attach. Then the snap will not close. That is why 3 stars for sturdiness. Once they are put on, they DO NOT COME OFF, without working at it and wanting it to come apart. The instructions for the pliers is a little iffy, but there are you tube videos and instructions here on Amazon. Once you get the knack of how much pressure to use and how to set the snap on the pliers it becomes easy peasy. Expect some wasted snaps at first.

Love the plastic snaps, and not having to sew snaps on. More convenient than metal rivet-style snaps. Doesn't always come out rright - if you squeeze too hard, or don't have the snap parts perfectly centered the snap won't work (but they are easy to pry off, and you get better after the first several.) I wish the setter parts were clearly labeled as to which size snp they are for. Coming up with more ideas of what to do with these snaps. Glad I bought this.

I bought these to make tank tops into nursing tops and they worked very well. Extremely easy to use and surprisingly sturdy. I expected the snap to be weak due to the price but it is very secure. I’m impressed
