Very handy
I bought this for repairs and making small items such as face coverings and it's ideal. Very lightweight and easy to use especially if you have used a sewing machine before and are familiar with them but full instructions are given anyway. I have my mum's big old sewing machine but it weighs a ton and I can't manage it. This little mini will be so much easier to set up and store. A very handy piece of equipment.

You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
If you want to skip the full review, here's the short version - JUNK!Still here? Buckle up Buttercup, this aint pretty if you're a fan of this machine. So, from a price point, for a sewing machine of around £20, you're never going to get an entry level Singer or Brother machine (*other brands are available...) obviously but if you get nothing else from this review, if nothing else hopefully I may have distracted you long enough that you might forget to purchase this pile of sh••!The build quality is diabolical. It's constructed of cheap plastic, with poor quality components. Many of the parts that you would associate being made of metal on other machines, are made of crappy plastic on this model. The LED lamp, above the needle, that was mounted outside of the body of the unit and being as it is lower than the switch that you use to turn it on/off, you cannot avoid moving the lamp with your finger. I think it would only be a matter of time before it'd be damaged. My machine was broken quite literally after 10 minutes of use. The tension adjustment screw, which alters the tension on the cotton feeding the machine from the cotton reel, said adjustment screw came off in my hand and it was impossible to reattach it back to the product. Worse still, I was left with (what I imagine is) the nut which secures the adjustment screw internally, rattling around inside the body of the machine. The instruction manual (more leaflet than manual,) which accompanied the machine was pathetic. Unless you have a previous relationship with a sewing machine, you'll be screwed. I found the only way to truly get a remote grasp of the use of the machine, was by referencing the sales images (on Amazon listing,) alongside the manual & YouTube tutorials that I found. The power lead that accompanied the unit was ridiculously short, as was the foot pedal. By the least you'll need to use an extension lead to power the machine. As said the foot pedals lead is also a little bit too short too. I sat at a dining table and there was only just enough cable to reach the floor. You can actually activate the machine without the foot pedal, if you prefer. You use the on/off button, which will advance your work toward the needle for as long as it's switched ON, depending on how comfortable you are with that. User beware! There is NO regulation of the speed using this method, as there would be no pedal. There's no mention of this flaw in the manual. There was an extension table, which accompanied this order. I do not know if this is standard. It was of the same hideous build quality. It consists of three fold-out legs and a cut-out section, which is supposed to marry-up to the bobbin plate area of the machine. The main flaw in the design is that the extension table is slightly taller than the machine and there is no physical connection or catch of any kind.In view of my product being faulty, I ended up contacting Amazon with a view to return it. The seller responded by suggesting that if I wanted to return, that I would have to, quote:"Bear the shipping costAfter we receive the package, we check that our product is not damaged, and we will return it to youThis is very troublesomeOr are we willing to leave the product to you and give you 50% compensation?"Yeah... Errrm.... NOPE! Having rejected that and after opening up a case with Amazon, I got a further offer along the same lines of 60% and keep it.So we are clear, this is NOT in agreement with Amazon's "Seller Agreement" and Amazon have confirmed that the seller is responsible for the associated return cost, not the customer. This case, at the time of writing this review, is still open. Buyers BEWARE! ⚠️After note. The seller has since offered a full refund.

It's so cute
This is a great little item. Threading is a bit tricky, but once mastered no problem. Read the instruction thoroughly first, (as with most item these the instruction have not translated well. ). It sews like billio! and can run away with you if you leave it in fast speed. But for the money just doing hemming or any kind of straight sewing it is really good. I have hemmed denim jeans with no problem at all. The only 2 problems I have found is it is light weight and needs a non slip cloth under it. Secondly the tray is a bit of a nuisance as it doesn't actually clip to the machine and can slide about. But for the money it is great.

Dont follow my lead
The package is quite ok when it arrived and the string is been set up on the sewing machine. Searching on the youtube and easily fond some youtuber show you how to use this machine.Unfortunately, this machine just not working with me. (I ve been read the manual book and watch you tube many times ) Keep going backwards .I am sorry, not the right product for me. It might be useful for someone who has already know how to use the sewing machine.

Value for money
As a complete novice I was able to male some dolls clothing on the first day it arrived with the help of a you tube video (google the model number and you will find the you tube videos showing how to thread and operate. Looking forward to making some masks. Perfect for light work or for youngsters

Throw your money in the bin now....you'll get more use and delight out of it than this machine
The machine comes with 2 prefilled bobbin, both of which contain poor quality thread which snap, knots are just tangles at any attempt to use. Replacing the thread is a mission in itself with the hooking system catching on the lower mechanism or failing to even pass the thread over the lower bobbin at all. I think we had this machine for about 5 days of which I would say 4.5 were spent with the machine refusing to work at all, knotting and locking up or just out right refusing to catch the lower thread. The power wire is about the length of the machine, so maybe a foot at best with the wire for the pedal probably being half that and being required to stay on the work surface and be hand operated.Slow speed refuses to push the needle through even the thinnest fabric and fast locks up.All in all once you've dug your extension lead out and plugged the machine in, you will quickly realise the extension lead is probably a more adequate tool for sewing than this machine is.Please don't waste your time and regret it!

Don't forget to find the power cable and foot pedal in the packaging ;o)
Lovely and portable and bought for the option of battery powered use and taking on creative mini trips. It is simple but at least I can sew on demand lol. Love it!! Thank you.
