Best website builder I have ever used
Now on my 2nd upgrade, I have been using website X5 for over 5 years. The software has really evolved and includes templates, photos and easy to customise features. To design your website with bespoke photos, you can join sites such as shutterstock who may cater to your industry. You can then upload, drag and resize either saved or your own pics.It is helpful to have a good logo. If you don't, try fiverr website and then position that once again by drag and drop. You can have a short one page site, multi page or huge e-commerce shop. The templates are all there. I find the software of great use for minor alterations where you just log in, make your changes and press 'publish'. A few seconds later and your site will show the changes made. Very handy for price changes and stock levels.Do remember that when you are making changes to images, ensure they remain the same size and in line with others or the site will look amateurish. There is a free hosting offer with the software, but I have my own hosting and have changed the settings to use that instead.Incomedia customer service is in Italy, so don't expect an instant reply, but following general instructions on screen should avoid the need for most tech support. There is also a Q&A forum for self help. Finally, this software allows use on 2 pc's. Very handy if you have a work pc and perhaps a laptop at home.I can't recommend this highly enough.

Much better products out there
The disk didn't autorun and install which is a bit annoying. I had to go into the Autorun folder and click on the exe file to get it to start up.The manual doesn't have an index - though the Table of Contents is fairly thorough. There is no option for optimising the website for mobile devices which is really critical these days.Overall it's a functional package with a lot of design templates you can work with. But I found the editing process awkward and not very intuitive. I'm a high level computer user and do expect products to be fairly intuitive for simple issues like page set up etc. For someone who is happy to read the manual before they begin, this may be less of a problem. The lack of mobile support is the deal breaker as far as I'm concerned and extremely poor show for a new product launched in 2013. The website does show sort of OK on my phone but there are none of the interactive features you can get for Mobile support in Wix.Personally I find PagePlus is much more intuitive - though lacking as many templates and online programs like Wix are also very easy to use and very functional for the novice user.Perhaps someone with more HTML experience could make better use of this - but for the novice user who just wants to build a simple website for themselves, this is not the best option available.

Average.
Everything you could possibly need to set-up an online business/sales presence.Website, blog, hosting etc, it's all in the box.Everything here is already available online, godaddy etc.. but a beginner would do very well to get this item instead. Easy peasy, no prior knowledge of HTML etc required at all.A good little package, but very basic.

Happy with this but...
Does anyone know if the websites created using this software present on mobiles and tablets as well as desktops? Apart from not being clear on this point the product is good. Easy to learn with everything needed to create a professional looking website. I object to having to pay subscriptions for the online website creators and I require control over the content I create so WebsiteX5 is a good solution. Well worth its money..... if and only if it works on mobiles and tablets.

The Worst Web-Builder I've Ever Seen!
Having started web-site "weaving" in the 90's, I've tried all sorts. Gave up on Dreamweaver when Adobe took it over and hiked the price, etc. The "blurb" om Website X5 is misleading and only paints half-a-picture. When you open up a new page/project you are given a page-sized box to work in that has two dividers, one horizontal, the other vertical and which can be slid one way or the other, to a degree. Scenario: Let's say you want to put a small graphic or logo in the top left corner. You have to drag a Graphic Place Holder into that box. That now occupies the whole box and cannot be adjusted. Nor can you add anything else in that same box: e.g. menu. text, etc.! The same seems to apply for any other component which you drag into any of the four sections or boxes. This is so frustrating, limited, I'd say "totally amateur" and unusable for a decent web-site.Pros: None.Cons: Waste of money and time!

Easy to use
Two hours after installing this program my new website was on line, i already had a domain and hosting but needed a new program so i could rebuild my website. Simple drag and click boxes make it very easy, my site is a simple three page advert for people wanting my services, but i imagine a more complicated site would be just as easy. I have very little experience with website building but at no time did i find this complicated. One thing i would have liked was a spellcheck but i do have an OED.

No support for this product
I have wasted my money purchasing this product as it does not function correctly on my computer and the manufacturers do not have a professional technical support system in place. See[...]I now have a product that I cannot use
